if thats how it turns out the entire SEC can thank Arkansas (Georgia and LSU)for making the gimmick wimpy offenses go away and we could all get back to playing man football instead of big 12 ball.

Arkansas has been my sleeper this year like Miss. State was my sleeper last year. I decided to roll the dice with Arkansas in the West.
Bama is on a decline both on the field and off the field. Only a few dozen fans at the Bama media day today and that is well below the normal numbers.

I expect Arkansas to have a good season this year like State had one last year. State didn't win the west though and I don't expect Arkansas will either.
They will be better, but the conference is just brutal.

Barring the magic horseshoe up your behind year from Arkansas we aren't winning the West next year. I think we will get better but it will some time for our defense to jell and replace our starters.
Brandon Allen is a gutsy kid but doesn't keep his composure well in pressure situations and every SEC game this year for the Hogs looks to be a pressure cooker.
If things go well we are middle of the pack and Bert continues to build the foundation for success in coming years. If we get some injuries and some bounces don't go our way it is going to be a long and brutal season.
That having been said, a rash of injuries and bad luck would likely put most of the West in the bottom of the standings. Its going to be a dog eat dog division this year.
