1) Georgia Tech: 222 vs Cumberland: 0, 1916
Cumberland had attempted to back out of this matchup, but would have to pay a 3000 fine. So this beat down shortly followed.
2) Rice: 146 vs SMU: 3, 1916
Believe it or not, the Mustangs actually jumped out to a field goal lead, only to have Rice commence the blowout.
3) Houston: 100 vs Tulsa: 6, 1968
Tulsa was clearly routed in this game, but what you may not know is that Dr Phil was a linebacker on that Tulsa team
4) Georgia Tech: 128 vs NC State: 0, 1918
If you didn't already know, Georgia Tech was a powerhouse back then.
5) Alabama: 36 vs Auburn: 0, 2008
While not that huge of a blowout, Bama had lost the iron bowl for seven consecutive seasons. They held the Tigers to only 8 first downs on the day, and it was the first time the tide had beaten the Tigers in Tuscaloosa.
6) Penn State: 0 vs Lehigh: 106, 1889
Awhile back, but this has gone down as the worst game Penn State ever played. And who the frick is Lehigh?
7) Oklahoma: 77 vs Texas A&M: 0, 2003.
Ouch. And what's worse is that Bob Stoops said he had stopped his guys from putting the ball in the end zone from the three yard line in the fourth. And Texas A&M had derailed Oklahomans title hopes the year before.
8) Michigan: 130 vs WVU: 0, 1904
Willie Heston would go on to win the heisman, but he didn't score once in this game.
9) Vanderbilt: 78 vs Bama: 0, 1906
The world would turn upside down if this happened today
10) LSU: 3 vs Florida: 58, 1993
We used to suck, and we got an arse whoopin . Nuff said.
Hope you guys enjoy the read. I know I enjoyed looking it up

2015 LSU over Auburn. Especially considering the magnitude of the game. Pure greatness

Our D held them to nothing but field goals in that game until late. Not necessarily a blow out. I'll do shutouts later lol

This can't be right. Heisman wasn't an award until the 30s.

This is the worst thread of the year. You should be banned. You cite teams who fought in the American Civil War and wore leather helmets pre-1920 ('Great Depression), then throw in a 2008 Iron Bowl. Lol. Get a job.

He's listed as a heisman winner , I think because the award equivalent of that time is what he won. Best player of all time or something of the like.
Try as I may, I can't find much on the guy.

how can you possibly leave out bama 59-0 over tejas aggy in 2014. that was the most dominating victory in modern football.
and the aggies just took it and still think sumlin is a great coach. ha-ha

It'd go on a most embarrassing list for sure

Make your own fricking list if you're really that butthurt that Auburn made his.
Here's another novel idea --- don't click.
You getting blood everywhere. Here's a gift... Plug that mangina pronto:

Wasn't the Heisman first presented in the 30s?

The Tech coach did it due to some bad feelings he had toward Cumberland's athletic department.
