I'm willing to bet A&M and Arky will not be top 2. Anything other than that is possible.

It'll be a grind for sure, but you have a better change of winning the Mega Millions twice in the same year than Bama and the barn finishing 6 and 7. Ark will be improved, but I'm not sure they can hang week after week. TAMU will be all O and no D again. Chavis has always had ridiculous talent on D at LSU and UT, and A&M isn't there yet. Ole Miss should be decent if they can keep their QB out of jail. MSU will be good on O and step back some on D, but Dan hasn't shown any kind of consistency getting through a rough stretch. LSU will be good if they stick to the ground and pound. AU has all the pieces on O and should be a lot better on D. Bama is ridiculously deep on D and should be more than good enough on O as long as they have a QB that can hit an open WR. Both sides of the ball are loaded with elite athletes. Any thought of Bama and the barn finishing in the last two spot is complete lunacy.

Hard to tell, I'd say we are a middle of the road team at the end of next season, though if we get a rash of injuries our lack of team depth would hurt the Hogs badly. Ole Miss and LSU have some offensive problems. The Aggies need to find a defense and fast, Chavis probably gets them there but I think they'll lose games getting to the promised land. State lost a ton of talent and as good as Dak is he's likely to get bounced around a lot. Bama and Auburn look like the two best teams... right now.

Unless someone completely flames out early on against OOC teams we won't know how the West will play out till the meat of the season arrives.

Slide MSU down to 6th and slip everybody else up a notch and you're spot on.

1. Auburn
2. Bama
3. Ole Miss
4. Arkansas
5. LSU
6. MSU
7. aTm

4-6 could all be interchangeable IMO

State really only lost their LBs. Safeties were bad anyways.

I love how everyone keeps putting us on the bottom of the table. It's cute.

Is this prediction for 2030? That's assuming you can keep up the tradition of fielding a decent team every fifteen years.

This is so laughable. Just do not see this happening. .01% chance, but hey crazier things have happened. (maybe not)

It's like they can't wrap their head around just how bad their QB situation is.

I don't think MSU will be bad, but I can't see them finishing that high. The rest looks okay, since Auburn has an easy schedule.

1, 2, 3, 4: Could be any out of Auburn, Alabama, Arkansas, LSU. All of their strengths outweigh their weaknesses except the QB situation at LSU. Bama's QB situation overblown when 90% of the time all QB has to do is hand the ball off if they can't find someone that can throw well.

5. Texas A&M - Can score a bunch, but doesn't have the players Chavis needs to run his D.

6. MSU - Dak will be good again, but too many plyers lost around him.

7. Ole Miss - No running game gonna get you killed.

Your LSU and SEC West biased is sickening......

Has either division EVER gone 14-0? Or 12-0 dating back to '92?

I like this thread, it's almost identical to one we would have seen just prior to the 2012 season starting

They have signed some solid LB in prior classes and signed Leo Lewis last year. Personally I think Jamal Peters will play LB at the next level too but he may need to grow into that and could contribute immediately at safety. There is returning experience and incoming talent. There will be a drop off but show me a team in the West where there won't be.
