I think if both LSU and Arkansas play to their potential then LSU wins easily. Usually LSU comes into this game sleep walking though.

Following that this isn't the past. This game will be different then the ones the past few years so bringing up the past games is a mute point.

And anyone bringing up LSU being a 14 point favorite, Iowa State was a 28 point underdog last week to Oklahoma State.

You right, I meant 2010...

I seriously apologize for every ill spoken word I have ever uttered regarding the University of Alabama. Alabama is a worthy opponent, a great rival and a pretty darn good educational institution.

I should be saving my hate for a unworthy opponent, a white trash step child of a rival, and a piss poor educational institution. Die Arky!

And no I don't... but maybe you could come look at my master's degree from the University of Texas and see if they missed a comma.

How far Arky drops is the question at hand.

if the highly rated teams that lost last week win this week arkansas may drop out of the top 10. their "rein" in the top 3 will be short lived. the cotton bowl will probably want them. the nation wants LSU and BAMA. we are the teams of choice. arkansas just needs to learn their place. maybe eventually they will sign enough defense guys to move up but they just can't be trusted to rep the sec against the big boys.

They're 10-1, ranked #3, have won 3 of the last 4 against LSU and the last 2 in Tiger Stadium......and you are wondering why they aren't conceding the beatdown you predict?

The only ones wanting a rematch between LSU and Bama are Bama fans, LSU fans and those few of us who like a physical, defensive battle.

The other conferences and ESPN want LSU to play Okie Lite or a another team from another conference.

Since you are correcting people, it's moot point. Not mute.

There is danger in this game for LSU - but a loss to Arky wouldn't be fatal so does it really matter?

LSU's O kneeling down with 5 mintues left in the Ole Miss game was a really bad thing. Not only was it disrespectful to Ole Miss and the SEC but it gave the LSU offense silly notions it is infallable. LSU is a power O with gears sensitive to penalties and turnovers. Overconfidence, mental errors, and turnovers are the recipe for the upset and all three seem ripe to appear in this game after Les Miles arrogantly told his O to humiliate Ole Miss by kneeling on it with 5 minutes to play.
