Now, since we are just looking at stats, let's compare first year records.

Boom first year: 7-6
Jim first year: 10-3

boom?

Gotta love stats, right?

If you really dig into the teams, 2011 and 2015 UF were very similar, and it is amazing that 2014 UF had a better O than 2015.

2011 and 2015 are similar until you look at results.

Treon Harris wasn't around for Boom in 2011. We may have been 6-7 if he had been or worse.

You're going to have a hard time finding anyone who disagrees that USCe is headed for championships under Muschamp.

The results differed mainly because UGA and SC were much worse in 2015 than in 2011 and there was no Bama.

Treon did better vs UGA than Brantley did.

Yikes. Good point. JD is said to be drafted this year.

Muschamp was that good.

JD would have cost UF a few more games this year if he had played.

TO's are costly, and JD was a TO machine.

He was a TO machine under Boom. At LaTech though...

Treon didn't get worse. He has never been a good QB. Certainly not good for what McElwain wants to do on offense.

Provide some Treon Harris passing stats and we'll talk about this possibility.

Passer rating of 146 vs 118. Quite a drop.

I wonder who our next coach will be. I hope he's as good as Muschamp with offense. Jim certainly isn't based on your analysis.

It's time to visit coachingsearch.com.

Grier - a good QB QBR of 60.3
Harris - a bad QB QBR of 36.9

Our only hope is that Jim is better with good QBs than bad QBs.

Both qb's had the exact same passer rating in game 1.

I've agreed with you that Muschamp is better than Jim.

Can we now talk about who our next coach might be? It's kind of exciting to think about the possibilities.

Gruden?
Kiffen?
Bring Boom back?

Lots of choices.

Level of competition had a lot to do with it IMO. Also boosted his confidence.
