We took another 3star WR from Orlando in Ryan Sousa. He too only had 1 SEC Offer..Mizzou.. so prior to UF taking him, he would have had same number of SEC offers as Garrett Johnson.

Sousa hasn't touched the field yet.

He's mostly known for dropping the ball every day in practice

Dude was a low 3 star and rated as the 700th player overall. Let's not act like Muschamp passed over a kid everyone else wanted. Kids slip through the cracks all the time and some just develop late and are missed.

This is one of the things I like about college football. Every year you have kids who no one gave much of a look showing how good they can be.

Be honest, how many games have you watched this year, and thought, damn I wish we had that qb, rb or wr?

I love that these kids get a chance to shine.

FWIW, I think Johnson would be getting reps anywhere in the SEC with his talent at this point.

I don't blame Muschamp for not taking him though. He's a late bloomer and it happens. I remember the shite that Tubby would get for not taking Chris Lofton on the basketball side, while people conveniently forgot he took 5* Rajon Rondo, 5* Joe Crawford, and 3* Ramel Bradley (who was rated #10 at that position that year, Lofton was #24) in that class.

It's just really sad that your bench guys blue and Timmons would be getting a lot of play time at uf

Timmons probably wouldn't at this point. He's been too inconsistent even for him being as young as he is. If we had a decent special teams coach, he wouldn't be seeing the field on returns either behind King. He had a lot of trouble with securing the ball last season and I think he's gotten passed up by some of the guys who have stepped up at that position.

I'm assuming you're talking about Blue (WR) from last season? Because Blue (LB) is a RS freshman and wouldn't play over Forrest, Flannigan, K. Henderson, etc.

Nah. He was a JUCO kid coming in so we only had him for a short time.

I'd settle for just having a special teams coach.

Naturally. Is it sad that our imaginary special teams coach was better than Naivar though?
