I think it is the most underrated college town in the South.

So you're saying Texas is a part of the south?

I thought Texans were too good for the "south".

Interdasting.

College Station isn't a bad place. Not far from Houston/The Woodlands. TAMU is a bit too spread out a campus for my tastes, but it's still not a bad place. Texas as a whole was nice, arrogance notwithstanding.

From a man born in Baton Rouge and living in College Station for 20 years I can honestly say you are wrong about CS. By the way there are hundreds of red lights in Bryan/College StatIon but good try.

I will be back home in Baton Rouge for Xmas if you want to chat about reality.

And no, B/CS isn't New York City; rather, its pop of 230,000 makes it pretty close to my definition of Heaven.

Actually Midway developers are breaking ground on a City Centre type development similar to the one off Beltway 8 right adjacent to campus called Century Square.

Yup, there's been a few new mixed use condo developments built at Northgate across from campus too
