Murray on hit

he's a gump, his reading comprehension skills are lacking.

Each desk in Alashammy schoolhouses is equipped with a spit cup. He probably accidentaly smudged the written account of the hit with Skoal juice in the Hooterville Town Talk....

Sounds like even Murray thinks it was a legal hit.

I see UA is still scraping the bottom in reading comprehension.

Fine throw the penalty and I am not defending the hit however what I am curious of is if this is deemed a block is there helmet to helmet rule in effect because you see guys get blindsided all the time with helmet to helmet on up punt returns and what not and it is not called. If the only difference is because this was a qb then I don't see how it can be called.

I don't care how bad most other LSU fans want it the hit wasn't helmet to helmet. It was just a cheap shot that was unnecessary and should have been flagged. The only reason I said he should be suspended was because the kid from Ole Miss was and his hit wasn't any worse than Dials. Elston made a legit football play and was just trying to separate the ball from the WR.

IMO Elston should never have been suspended and Slive set a precedence that he was never going to be able to keep up by doing that.

Jesus Christ people. When is the last time you got the wind knocked out of you from a facial blow? The point was that the hit was largely to Murray's body. Obviously it should have been a penalty for Dial's helmet hitting AMs.

It should be clearly evident by the # of posts by Gumnps on this subject that its not enough for them to have won the game. They want everyone to love them and cheer for everything they cheer for. Anything that paints the Gump Kingdom negatively must be defended at all costs.

If you haven't noticed - you're fighting a losing battle. Have you convinced anyone who is not a Gump with your constant bitching and rationalization about this play? Not that I can see.

Move on. You're wasting your time.

Well I agree. But you know just as well as I know that the only reason we are even having this discussion today is because it was a QB.

I guess I'm the only one that realizes landing flat on your back with that kind of force can knock the wind out of you.
