I don't think you understand how this works.

Eason ain't going to Florida. He may not end up at UGA but he ain't going to end up at Florida either.

I think you mean Eason will watch Kirby's defense completely shut down the Gators offense, and hire his new OC at UGA just before the dead period.

Nah Miami sucks. Unless he truly just loves Richt and is willing to overlook every other advantage at UGA. I think it's Michigan if not UGA.

Again, other than Richt why on earth would he go there? He'd have to sit behind Kaaya for at least a year, they already have another solid QB committed, the facilities are garbage, they have next to no fanbase to speak of. Nothing about Miami is attractive to a QB recruit.

Meanwhile, a UGA program he has said numerous times he is in love with and that was good enough to talent it's way to a 9-10 win season is offering him a chance to be the starter from Day 1.

my biggest concern is with the not knowing about our future O coordinator...we know the D under Kirby will be lights out...but if I'm Eason, I know the history CMR has with qb's....I might think about following him...just saying...

John Lilly followed him from FSU. I think CMR gives him a shot.

I think at this point the biggest thing to keep him with UGA is the relationships he's developed with the other incoming recruits. Unless a number or them start jumping ship, think we'll be fine.

What don't I get?

Smart can't contact Eason during the dead period.

If Smart doesn't hire an OC while he's still Coaching at Bama, nobody on his staff will.
