I was so wrong about Mullen. I thought he was going to do well.

But then he started showing his arse, starting riots at midfield, etc.

AND he sucks.

Why add another L to his resume.

I don’t blame him

I wish Brian Johnson didn't leave for the eagles...would've been a good guy for an opportunity like this. At least well fight for a bowl game next week.

He can go hump a shark for all i care….good riddance on a lazy coach

{edited} also, i can make a hypothesis that he ain’t been coaching since the UTenn game …why is FSU any different?

What a fricking pussy. But not surprising. It was clear he was trying to get fired the last few weeks.

Dude flamed out way faster than anyone expected

Dude had all the resources in FL. Miami and FSU are on life support. Hardly have to leave the state for recruiting. Couldn’t get it done.

I think Muschamp left the same way. Was fired after USC, refused to coach the last game.

I think all the Mississippi State fans would tell you after his 3rd year or so he gave up around rivalry week so this checks out

He's afraid of the 'Recruiting Season' questions he would have had to have answered after the inevitable loss.

Even got a field named after him.

You are not familiar with The Story of Dan. Mullen did not flame out but reality finally caught up with perception. At state, which some perceive as a lower-tier program, Dan rode some diamond-in-the-rough talent and a favorable OOS and SEC schedule to a 69-46 overall record but only 33-39 in SEC. Since it's state many thought he was a miracle worker and would dominate at Florida.

Reality is he's a lousy recruiter, average coach, and a backstabbing a-hole.

Did the backup / starting QB get hurt for the season, the one hurt dancing in the hotel? Would he have made any difference these past few games?
