My point is that all teams have "dirty" players. Kids are dumb and do stupid things. Simmons though should be charged and Mullen should drop his scholarship. Will he though, that is out of my hands.

I think it would be funny as hell if Mullen didnt cut Simmons and then

he gets on campus and beats the shite out of some Co-ed and then the state university and Mullen have a huge negligence law suit on their hands.

Keep on spinning bro

Fair enough...just make sure you kick stringfellow off the team and forfeit any win that he participated in. I think that would make a stronger statement that taking away a poor kid's chance at an education. ole miss has a chance to make a real impact and we'll expect the announcement in the coming weeks...

Maybe if they talk about Simmons enough they'll forget that Stringfellow knocked a woman out.

This will be especially pathetic if that guy actually plays for MSU. I'm not a MSU hater at all and in truth generally prefer them over Ole Miss but frick that. I don't care where he's from, what kind of upbringing he's had- he's a freaking animal and should not be given the right to a scholarship in any manner from any place.

I think people should pay the price for there actions and then I do hope they get a second chance. This is just what does State think his punishment should be. And people can lose scholarships before attending school so the his not on the team is a joke. I had a person at my high school that left a knife in there car from moving a teach saw it and they were arrested. Their college pulled the scholarship and they were still in high school.

Now we don't know what it will be and I don't know what it should be but we will see.

Yeah that is how I read it. But Mullen has to think about that aspect. Not really the law suit but it would be a huge issue in this climate if it happen again because of the video. I'm sure it is already being discussed though.

He thought Simmons was an OM lock then he signed with State and it broke his heart. Now that Simmons has beaten a woman, he is displaying faux outrage. Mind you, nobody seemed to give a shite when Stringfellow transferred to OM for the same thing.

From all accounts I've heard, Simmons is a good kid and has never been in trouble before. I don't think one action should define someone's career/life but unfortunately, it does. This isn't someone who has been in multiple fights (Stingfellow for instance). With that said - I know OM fans will just ignore this and call him a tPOS and go back to crucifying him.

Yeah, cut that crap out HailFreezusOver. You are better than a bulldog.

In HailFreezusOver's defense though, he does not lead a hate site nor support any hate sites like a few MSU faithful here.

Hey we will see but in no way did I say this should define his career/life. It might change it and end it at State but it won't define his career/life unless if he lets it. There have to be consequences for those actions we will see what State says they are.

But I truly believe that with that video and if he makes another mistake on video like that it could cost Mullen his job. I never want to see that because I'll talk shite about sports all day but that's bad stuff for everyone. But he has to think about that. I'm not saying it should just the way the world works with media these days. The video is difference look at Rice everyone saw the after effect of the hit and he was still in the NFL but after the punch was shown it was over. And that was with her hitting him when it happens.

Also I know your on ED saying shoplifting is worse then that? Even thinking it is just crazy. Just like saying it happens again so Mullen is fired that is right there with it. I didn't bring that up to say I hope just something Mullen and the school have to be talking about.

would think that's messed up. With that video and in the current climate I don't see a D1 school touching him till after JUCO.

Y'all already touched one. Signed him as a matter of fact. I guess it was ok cuz there wasn't video. But he admitted and was convicted of actually knocking her arse out.
