yes, congrats... job well done by both ... donovan has kept a team of unheralded players intact and playing with tremendous chemistry, and cal has coached his talented recruits to a maturity/team level at the right time ...

cal may have been sketchy at umass and memphis, but he's not responsible for uk's 'one and done' players ... and he can flat out coach ...

Agree.

It's amazing how butthurt so many people are over Kentucky.

Always amazing indeed

Especially with such a track record. It is like money in the bank and folks should just chill and keep collecting the winnings. Why fight with the goose that keeps laying golden eggs?

Congrats to both. Can't understand why some don't see the success of other conference teams as beneficial to their own. Recruiting? It's nation wide.

Probably because they fail to look at the tax returns every year after the checks get cashed. I know if my neighbor got me 20 - 40 million extra a year I would just smile all the way to the bank.

Kentucky beat Wichita State, Louisville, and Michigan on there run... Those 3 teams were all in the final four last year. Very impressive.

Kentucky definitely has been playing on a different level since Tournament play started. Can they beat Florida though if given the chance.

I think with this Final Four that Florida has the advantage because they have played UConn, Wisconsin, and Kentucky this season.

UConn- Loss by 1 point at UConn
Wisconsin- Loss by 6 points at Wisconsin
Kentucky- Win by 6 points in Lexington
Kentucky- Win by 19 points in Gainesville
Kentucky- Win by 1 point in Athens

Since Michigan's out, I'm SEC all the way.

Keep it up, UK and UF!

Hats of the Cats, beat some outstanding teams. Funny how things have worked out for UF. So happy to get a chance at uconn again, I feel really good about that game. I want Wisky to win the other one to set up another revenge game. Can't have UK there, nearly impossible to beat a team 4 times in the same season. Go Gators!!!!

Watch-- this week Florida will be the team of the 4 that gets the least talk simply because they just haven't played a close game-- frankly they might not play a tight game in the tourney (they didn't in either title run).

Only one problem with your equation: UKs frosh have been improving every game and are not even remotely close to the frosh that played in Jan/Feb.

Even though we had big lead in SECT game..UK came back and could have beaten us except for divine intervention

The last 8 seed to win the NCAA championship was Villanova over Georgetown in 1985. Georgetown had beaten them 3 times that year........

And that is relevant because?

I don't know who will win what, all I know is that history has nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.

My personal desire for this year was a FF. They have reached that milestone, and surpassed it by going undefeated in SEC play, winning the SEC by a mile, and then winning the SECT. So I'm going to enjoy the ride. I will be going to Arlington on Friday. Staying at the team hotel in Dallas. It is going to be a great weekend regardless. Right now, I'm looking forward to seen Napier Then we shall go from there.

Go Gators!
