I know it's early, but in the four years I was at MSU, I never went to Tuscaloosa. Not ever during the "we believe" season. I'm looking at StubHub and wondering just how terrible the nosebleed seats are? I'm taking my my girlfriend and don't want to spend a grand on football tickets. Also, how difficult will it be to get a hotel in T-town?

I doubt tickets will be too high honestly, even if MSU comes in undefeated and ranked number one, they're still MSU. I just can't see those tickets reaching LSU or Auburn prices when they come into town with a good team.

I went to our game with them last year. Nosebleeds are good seats. Sat in the end zone opposite of student section and sat around a bunch of Bama fans and had no issue. The most obnoxious one there was an Auburn fan

As far as hotels, as I remember it, I had no issue last year booking on week of, but it'll be different with the #1 team in the nation comin to town.

Don't stay in Ttown - 2 night minimum at over $200/night. Birmingham is best bet.

I think the game will be very close. Alabama matches up well with state and vice versa. I just don't think ticket prices will reflect that. For the magnitude of the game I think they'll be had for relatively cheap if you buy outside the stadium before kickoff.

Regardless of the fact that we're not LSU or Auburn, I still want to go ahead and book tickets before Alabama wins the rest of there games and MSU stays undefeated and ticket prices increase. And I'm not driving 3 and a half hours to hope for a cheap ticket outside of the stadium.

You can always find tickets outside the stadium for cheaper than stubhub in Tuscaloosa. If you wait until right before kickoff you're going to pay face or a 10% markup. You have tons of people wanting to unload tickets and they'd rather take face than nothing at all. It's easy as pie.

I paid 60 bucks for a ticket to the florida game in the lower bowl this year. That's a bigger "name" opponent, first sec game, and two undefeated teams at the time.

I'll be surprised if Alabama is not favored when State comes to town.

Hopefully.. We seem to win when we're the underdogs this season.

Well it will be exceedingly harder the longer you wait to book something, thats the only thing I know.

They arent that bad at all. Those seats actually have their advantages to lower level seating. You probably wont have to pay an arm and a leg either.

I appreciate the advice! Stub Hub has two together for 140 apiece.. Too much?

I'd hope not considering it's only 85 miles from Starkville.

In any case, just rent a van and sleep in it. Cheaper than a hotel.

For nosebleeds? Yes, because you will be able to find them for much cheaper if you keep looking.

It's hard to tell when the "location" in your profile says "Starkville", hause.

I think MSU wins my girlfriend and best friends are state fans and doesn't look like anything is slowing them down this year. State beats bama and ole miss and it goes down in history.
