this seems to be proof to me of a fanbase who has never been in this situation. If it were as easy as one game a year it wouldn't be the SEC

No they are just that much better than LSU at this point. If we lose to Bama then we probably lose in BR, but LSU doesn't have the passing game to stand a chance against Bama this year.

LSU always has a chance against BAMA. I believe Bama is better than LSU at this point but the talent levels are basically the same and whether you like it or not Les and Nick are all even head to head, with les getting the edge in the regular season. MSU on the other hand is a very good tier 2 team in the SEC this year and to think just because you beat bama that you take the cake is proof of not being in this situation before now. The SEC is too strong for that mentality

I'll never forget the day you said "I'm quitting TD" and made a big thread about it on the OT and then you were back posting like 2 days later.

We've already played a team just as good as Miss State when we played UT on the road.

We have Miss St at home. Miss State offense has not played a road game this year in a atmosphere like they will experience Saturday. You will see those Miss St offensive numbers go down drastically.

Everyone keeps talking about Miss State corners. But what about the defensive line, because that's what you need to defeat Alabama. You need a talented and deep defensive line.

Tyler Russell will have to make his throws with a little more hands in face than he's had to so far this season. Tyler Russell will have to make his calls at line with more noise around him.

It wont happen.

What makes you think this? Have you actually watched a State game this year or are you just talking out your arse? Alabama is not as dominating as they were last year and State is a totally different team on offense than they were last year. Simply writing this off as a Gump win before its even played is retarded. Sure, State hasn't played anyone that has challenged them all season but neither has Bama. This will be a much closer game than everyone is expecting and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if my Dawgs grind this one out.

Bama has nothing to gain and everything to lose in this game. State is the exact opposite. They win then they defeated Goliath. They lose and nothing changes.

The West isn't what it was last year. I may be wrong but unless something drastically changes LSU can't stay in the game, there isn't enough offensive output to do it. I am not saying we 100% would run the table after Bama either, didn't intend for it to come across as an absolute, I meant to imply that the probability is strong that that happens.

This makes sense. I still believe LSU can win out with the biggest factor being MSU and BAMA in tiger stadium, but our offense will obviously have to pick it up. Either way should be a good few weeks in the SEC west. Good luck in t-town and the same in BR.

You have played somone that challenged you. You only had UT by 3 points at home until a few seconds left in the game. That tell's me you are not that much better than UT. Alabama had the UT game over with in the third quarter and we were on the road.

What do you mean Alabama is not as dominant as it was last season. They are still dominating teams this year.
