Question for Dawg fans:

Would you rather keep the LFL as is or go ahead with the bad arse lofts and corporate style LFL?

The new stadium is going to be amazing, but it's gonna be a damned shame losing those lounges. Rebuilding my fraternity's lounge cost me a semester of school, drinking on it at mid-week games cost me at least one more.

The current rigs are a disaster waiting to happen. The new LFL will be much safer but not the same atmosphere. The bad arse lofts are so expensive, I don't see them happening in the near future unless they adjust the cost of leasing.

Yea a rig that's closer to center right field collapsed this past Friday with people on it. Not sure if anyone was hurt but it did collapse.

Pretty sure this is why they are heading the way they are. A safer, more stable, uniformed left field lounge. Although i love left field lounge a majority of trailers out there are in bad shape and not up kept like they need to be.

So refreshing to see MSU and USCe and Old Myth and UGA and Vandy do pretty Outfield backdrops..too bad LSU's Simpletons/braintrust thought as long as TigerStadium is in the view..that it must be a winner.

There has to be a way to standardize the rigs without losing the personality. I've always thought there should be a level concrete pad for them to sit on, regular inspections would help as well.

Me too, but there are some LFL supporters who are even against that. I love the rigs, but most are sitting on piled up blocks.

Prior to this fiasco (hadn't heard this yet), the only rig that collapsed in the LFL was actually the boardwalk in right field. It was built by Mississippi State.

You literally have no idea when they will or won't happen.

I would disregard everything this poster says about Dudy Noble from here on out as his jimmies have been rustled because he has been priced out.

I was there when that happened. They were boiling Crawfish on that thing IIRC. It was a miracle no one was seriously injured.

I think they already had some pretty strong commitments from high level folks putting their name on some.

Email Scott and ask him did they over estimate the desire for this type housing and whether or not they have had people knocking the door down to reserve one. Do it! I dare you.

Plus, Mr Smartass - are you aware that there are 3 sets of condos being built a stone throw from campus? The cheapest is $180,000 over in the Research Park, one on Russell across from the Marriott for about $250,000 or the cottages behind me for $240,000 up to about $300,000? What makes more sense? Lease for $50,000 per year forever for a Loft or buy a condo less than a mile from campus? Math doesn't work and Scott figured that out.
