hip surgery according to twitter AU account. Looks like another series to be won by AU this weekend...

5 starts with an ERA north of 5. Not a weekend guy. Shouldn't have any real effect on the series.

He hasn't pitched in a while and we all assumed he wasn't coming back for this season.
I think that's the 9th pitcher we've lost to injury this year. Lost 10 pitchers total from the beginning of the season.
I still think we're going to de-rail at some point

May 4-6 sounds great.

Jesus, how do y'all have anybody left?

Hip surgery, sounds like Keaton McKinney after last season

Brant Blaylock, remember the name.

We've been winning without him so this isn't as alarming as it sounds. This hurts post season play, but that's pretty much a lost cause with the previous 9 pitchers going down. The only shot of us getting to a SR is if we get up big in just about every regional game and not running into trouble with long innings.

Do you have like 7-10 pitchers left? Most teams carry about 17-20 pitchers with a 35 roster limit.

Pilkington, Billingsley, Gordon, Plumlee, Mcquary, Self, Price, Barlow, and Blaylock I believe are all the pitchers we have left. Maybe Parker Ford but he may be injured as well it's tough to keep up. Gordon and Blaylock started the season at 1B and OF
Pilk is the only legit starter we have left.
Price and Self are studs
the rest are mediocre yet we somehow keep winning SEC series.
It is unreal how were are 13-5 right now

It's almost comical. I was sitting on my lounge the other weekend and turn around to see 10 players in sweats as the team is taking infield. We literally have a injured possy of players that just roam the outfield during warmups

This is why Auburn fans shouldn't post about baseball... dude hasn't pitched in a month

Terrible news. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Pitching is overrated. We'll just let some position player do it.
