Looked much better tonight, at least in the 1st half. If we could play that way all 4 quarters, we'd pull it off 30-23. Unfortunately I say we don't and lose 26-17.

I find one thing funny. I knew about our front 7 because we had several coming back tonight. I picked MSU to cover the spread on Sec Pick'em but don't recall Lsu fans picking the same.
Is that because you thought Msu was horrible? Was it because you didn't know much about Fitzgerald? All the same, you guys didn't pick MSU.

State may have had a shot had Harris stayed in the game. Doesn't matter if Etling turns out to be good or bad. He gave the fans hope and that alone will be enough to get people out to the game next weekend that may not have otherwise come to see last week's shiteshow of an offense. In DV, at night, with no Dak this time, LSU pulls it out.

state has a decent shot to win this game it's not unfathomable but @ lsu at night I'm not getting my hopes up. not to mention the lack of success vs lsu in my lifetime - even the few times we were "supposed to win" mostly ended in disappointment.

I think we finally see the talent the LSU D has come alive at night in DV. LF will score eventually and run the dog D into the ground from time of possession. I bet it's pretty low scoring before talent and depth takes over in the second half.

I think it's more likely they saw who was playing, didn't give a frick, and marked down a team not in their division.
