I'm guessing no one here was bitching when Holgo dropped 70 on Dabo...
We pulled every starter at the start of the 4th and most of the backups on the second drive and went straight 3rd/4th string. We keep our foot on the gas, we probably put up 70 with 7 or 8 Prescott TDs -- and a lot of hype rolling into an offseason that sees 38 of 43 on that MSU 2-deep returning.
But instead, let's bitch about a trick play that didn't come close to working at the end of the 3rd...from a coach basically known for taking his foot off the gas late in games

part of me thought it wasn't necessary but the other part said it was 3rd qtr, Mullen knew he was pulling the starters in the 4th and he wanted them to have some fun out there. Oh well. I mean, it's not like we ran a fake FG when up 34-3 or fake a punt late in the game when up 40-3. But that's probably OK when it's Miami right?

Like I said in another thread, the guys probably worked on the play all month getting ready for it, thinking it would be a close game. I'm sure the players were calling for it on the sideline.
