Why should any other SEC teams be inconvenienced because of this clusterfrick? Seriously. Why would any other team move anything? This is an LSU/UF problem.

If you don't want to give up a shitty non-conference game to make up an SEC game then tough shite. Yes, it will cost someone some money. So what.

Yeah, make LSU reschedule 3 games instead for 1. Given our presence at Roll Tide HQs, probably a good chance this happens.

This is not as sucky as some plans, though. Still... UForfeit.

Yes it is. I absolutely agree with you. Doesn't mean it has to become every other teams problem.

This is totally solvable between UF and LSU with no one else getting involved.

They shouldn't. This was a coach and an AD that played the sec into not having to play a game this weekend to try and let players heal and avoid a loss and now trying to act like yeah we wanna play just in November when we are healthy.

Alleva fricked up by not demanding early in the week play Sunday or Monday but we gotta play this weekend.

This is pretty much how LSU feels. Florida inconvenienced the frick out of LSU by being uncooperative. And certain SEC fans think LSU should pay to the tune of $5 million, a lost home game, and 3 SEC road games in the span of 12 days; all for UF's unwillingness to cooperate.

The only thing that LSU should think about sitting at the table for is an offer to pay all of LSU's lost revenue from this (not just contract termination), and moving the A&M game back to Saturday. This is reasonable. Other than that, UF had their chance but was unreasonable.

This isn't LSU'S problem to fix. SEC can bump championship game back a week.

Dude... there is absolutely no way the SEC championship is moving back a week. Just not happening.

That's the thing it isn't now. frick sec. Move sec game back a week. Why should LSU lose senior day and a home game for something that could have been fixed.

I am almost 100% certain that LSU can move senior day to whatever game ends up being played at home last.

IF your AD can't figure it out, have him call me and I will explain.

If it becomes a problem determining the divisions, then they might do something drastic. I think as of now, the plan is to see how it plays out. No sense LSU losing a home game, another school rescheduling an event, or what not, if the game isn't even needed.

Guess the only other solution would be for the SEC offices to ensure that LSU has no way of being in contention for the championship by instructing referees to make lots of holding calls against them in Bama game. Same for Florida during the Georgia game.

Actually, no.

If the SEC is truly concerned about player safety, then LSU playing 3 SEC road games in 13 days is an issue. At a minimum the A&M game would need to be moved from Thanksgiving to Saturday.

You use sound logic when you say it's stupid to ask other teams to change their schedule for UF's and the SECs incompetence, but you go full retard when you suggest LSU should do the same, or that the SEC shouldn't have to change their champ game schedule to make up for their own incompetence.

Why is that?

Just have them play the game in one of the lower tier bowls when the season is over...lf they are eligible of course..
