The others, especially freaking Burrow? No way. At least, not yet.

If the Bengals called the Browns tomorrow and offered Burrow for Garrett straight up, the Browns would gleefully accept it.

If the Browns called the Bengals tomorrow and offered Garrett for Burrow straight up, the Bengals would laugh hysterically and hang up the phone.

Cam Newton is up there for the worst.

Say what?

Newton broke Peyton Manning's record of 3,739 yards passing for a rookie. On January 1, 2012, against the New Orleans Saints, Newton threw for 158 yards and became the first rookie quarterback to throw for 4,000 yards. He finished his rookie season with 4,051 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. In addition, he rushed 126 times for 706 yards and 14 touchdowns. The 14 rushing touchdowns were an NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a single season by a quarterback.

I mean he clearly flipped the Bengals around, and brought them to an AFC Championship. That’s pretty good. He’s got a long time to go in the league still. Manning wasn’t great in his first couple years, and now he may be the answer to this thread title. You can’t even judge guys like Burrow yet.

I mean he isn’t wrong. And it’s nothing against Bo’s talent. It’s on the Bucs drafting him despite him insisting he wouldn’t play

If drew brees played his rookie year he would have e destroyed that record.

Most underrated player in nfl history maybe.

Played better than his stats and was undersized

In 1981 the Saints used the first pick in the draft for Heisman winning RB George Rogers out of South Carolina.

The second pick in the draft that year was a guy out of North Carolina by the name of Lawrence Taylor.

The Saints probably still regret that one.

Rogers was a coke head in New orleans when it was still party central. Probably not a good fit looking back.

Mahomes wasn't the first pick in the draft.

He's the best #1 pick in any sport all time ever.

David Robinson is intriguing. He went from 5 ft 9 in junior in high school and having never played basketball to 7 ft 1 in and number one draft pick.

Then he should of made it more clear in the title or post. Mahomie was the Chiefs number one pick in the draft that year, just saying.
