Did anyone think about the fact that if you're a DISH subscriber, you're not able to watch ABC right now? Clemson/Fs aired on ABC. I for one wanted to watch it but couldn't get it because I have DISH.

"Maybe if y'all scheduled a competitive non-conference game or had to play the elite of the East you would appear in more heavily watched games"

The way LSU is playing, they won't have to worry about challenging any of those numbers!
Oh, and please remind me of who y'all have played out-of-conference this year.

It's the Manziel effect. Everybody wants to watch him.

Yes, the Manziel effect. There are also plenty of our haters that get a good amount of joy when we lose. That will abate as the years go by.
A&M was the darling. I expect the next darling to be Florida State. That kid over there is legit.

Of course a huge chunk of it is the Manziel effect. A lot of it is also the SEC. Another big chunk of it is Sumlin and is offense. Regardless, it is game changer for the A&M program. With Sumlin's offense, while we won't have another Manziel, we will have plenty of interesting story lines in the future. I don't expect us to be the most watched college football team in the nation very often, but i do expect that this exposure has taken as to a new level as a program. Will A&M capitalize on the opportunity? Time will tell.
Another thing these numbers show is why the SEC is the best conference in college football. The SEC network is going to make insane amounts of money.

Wait, so y'all don't have ABC OR NBC right now!?!? That's insane. I was contemplating changing from directv to dish for the easier HD at tailgates and to a lesser extent, the hopper which seems to be better than directv's Genie. But after hearing that, they can suck a bag of Afro-dick.

ABC is broadcast on the public spectrum. If you really want you can watch it for free, just go to the store and get an antenna.

Exactly what is 7.2 million or whatever? What exactly do those numbers represent. I figure more than 5-7 million people watched those games.
I always assumed these numbers pointed at the number of households watching the game.

You left out Carolina-Georgia, 7.01 million.
That's more than 2 (possibly 3) on your original list.
Please edit your op.
ETA- I see you are going by week, not total most watched for the season so far.
