Most underrated position group on your team?

Even by your own fans or the rest of the conference. Whatever you prefer.
I, personally, love our DBs. I think they'll be the best group we've had under Pinkel.
Kenya Dennis- absolute stud. Big corner. He's physical, aggressive in coverage and can really run. He could push himself into first round discussion with a big year. Probably a day two pick at worst.
Aarion Penton- he's also a well above average corner with good cover skills. Solid against the run. Likely be drafted when his time comes as well.
Ian Simon- probably the least impressive guy of the group, but he's a 3 year starter and will be moving to FS this year. His experience calling coverages should be valuable.
Anthony Sherrils- dude is a specimen. Not many safeties look like him. Lightning fast and hits like a truck. He was a demon on ST last year. Our most physically gifted safety since William Moore.

Hopefully secondary or WR

I think most people would say aTm has one of the top, if not the top, WR corps in the SEC

I believe for us it's the LBs. Beckwith will be a monster and Debo Jones is has got great speed and a playmaker everytime he's played in the game.

I think our DL and LBs aren't getting enough love, for now.

DBs. Everyone knows about our LBs and DL this year. Many will be surprised by how far along are CBs are coming. yea we wont be one of the best in the nation, but still much improved from the last 2 years.
Cyrus Jones. Would be a CB2 on most teams but forced to play as CB1 for us. He has played a ton of games and looked really solid in the second half of the season. This year should be even better. Solid college level CB. 2 young studs in Brown and Hump. Brown got most of the playing time last year but Hump has been looking great in the Spring and is getting a lot of talk. Ronnie Harrison and Hootie Jones at Safety with Eddie Jackson, Maurice Smith, Sylve, Washtington, and Geno Smith all providing depth and vying for a role.

DB
Hen're Toliver and Jared Collins will probably be one of the best CB tandems in the SEC this year

Our secondary held Amari Cooper to his lowest output of the season. 2 catches 21 yards.

LB by far, best in the SEC.

Safety. Matthews and Ford may be the best combo in the SEC this year

If RB is really your most UNDER rated group, then its another 3+ loss season for AU. But congrats on the RB stats.

Linebacker
Auburn has a good group of Linebackers this year. One of the best in the SEC this year.
Cassanova McKinzy and Kris Frost are both seniors and will both be starting for a 3rd year.
-Frost is one of the most athletic LBs in the SEC. 5* ATH out of HS and started at AU as a WR (just like Karlos Dansby). #14 OLB for the 2016 NFL draft by nfldraftscouts.com
-McKinzy is a natural LB. 6'3" 255 lb thumper. #2 ILB for the 2016 NFL draft by nfldraftscouts.com
-Tre Williams. Sophomore who played in all 13 games as a true freshman and looked very very good and instinctive. 5* HS recruit. #1 ILB and #22 overall HS player in 2014 class according to 247
-Justin Garrett. Senior. Slightly undersized and often injures but always impresses when he's playing
-Deshaun Davis. RS freshman. 4* HS recruit in 2014. Looked very impressive at A Day.
-Kenny Flowers. Senior. Has been a serviceable backup in his career. Started off a safety, but the more he plays LB the better he looks and he looked good this spring.
-Cameron Toney. RS sophomore. Former 4* HS recruit.
-Javier Mitchell. Junior. Former 4* HS recruit. Has been held back in his career by learning the LB position (played NT in HS) and being undersized at 6'2" and only 215 lbs. Instinctive, always finds his way arouns the ball and lays the wood when he hits. If he was 20 or 25 pounds heavier he would have seen a lot more playing time in his career. Good backup.
-Derrick Moncrief. Played safety last year. Didn't play much as a safety because he had the coverage skills of a LB and was a step too slow. However for a LB his coverage skills and speed are good. Already has LB size at 6'3" 230. In his time at safety last season he looked more like a LB, hit hard and good in run support.
Bringing in a good recruiting class this summer too.
-Jeff Holland. high 4*, one of the top LB recruits in the country. Expected to get playing time right away. 6'2" 230, could be 240 by the season.
-Darrell Williams. Another highly recruited 4* with the size to play right away at 6'3" 230
-Richard Mcbryde. Another high 4* but will need a RS year to put on weight
-Montravius Atkinson. 4* who will RS

Our starting DB's are ver underrated. Like you said Matthews and Ford at safety, and also Jones and Holsey at CB are 4 of the best starting DBs in the SEC. We have very little depth behind the starters. Thats why I chose LB instead of DB. Both units have some of the best starters in the SEC, but LB also has good quality depth.
People are overlooking AU at LB and DB because they've been AU's weakest positions since Chizik was hired, but they should both should be strengths this year (assuming no major injury at DB)
