For whatever reasons UGA is having a problem taking it (talent) from paper to the field.
Its not rocket science. Even recruits know why.

Arian Smith on why he committed to UGA.
In interviews earlier this week, both downplayed the LSU loss, specifically with how the wide receivers looked in that game. Smith added that the game was actually the reason for his commitment to Georgia, as he told DawgNation he called Georgia coach Kirby Smart the day after the loss to make his commitment.
Now UGA have WR and QB talent. Basically have proven talent everywhere except in the secondary. September 4th will give a lot of insight on where this team is headed in 2021.
Why is everyone evaluating team talent based solely off recruiting rakings. It would make sense to add ALL-SEC performers also. Jordan Davis for UGA.

He sure played like an opt out. He sucked - had mentally checked out. You will be lucky if he even deigns to play next year
He was playing injured nearly the entire year.
Its pretty shitty that you're accusing a player of "mentally checking out" when you dont even know what happened.
Just like your ignorant claim that LSU was "filled" with opt outs and you've only been able to name one.

I mean similar in talent
And that means the number of Juniors and Seniors drafted.
Nice to have a talented Freshmen class but means little if you don't have talented upperclassmen.

I didn't realize that sophomores no longer play.

Stingley is seriously considering not playing next year. Like that quitter Chase this year - I expect to see this kind of thing more and more

You have a link to backup that statement about stingley?

Stingley Sr was on the radio this week saying Derek will be playing for LSU in 2021.
Pretty much every thing you've said about LSU in this thread has been a complete fabrication.

Expirenced and talented upper classes have always been biggest factor when it comes success in the SEC with a few exceptions.
Not hard to figure out

Someone tweet him that #6 has left Baton Rough and he can come out from underneath the table

Georgia can match anyone skill wise. I just can’t rank them number 1 overall in talent yet. But I’m an idiot so maybe I’m wrong
I don't think you are wrong. I would put it:
1. Alabama
2. Georgia/LSU
4. Texas A&M
5. Florida
Georgia might have a slight lead over LSU because of the #13 ranking one of their classes had. But it would be slight. Florida is a couple of years away. They have the frontline talent, but need to work on the depth, and that takes time.

This is kind of an odd rationalization since most of Texas A&M's players from last season went 7-5 in 2019.
To be fair I think three of their losses were to number 1 ranked teams at the time in Clemson Bama and LSU.
