As an Auburn fan I will tell you that it is Auburn. We knew what we had in Marshall at QB (runner that can throw). We have a small sample size for JJ (a thrower that we don't know can run or not). Yes he lit it up for a game against Coastal Carolina (or somebody like that) and was very sharp against the Hogs for the first half of last year. So there's that.
The defense has to just be marginally improved to be better than last year...or the year before, or the year before that, or the ye... Muschamp is a proven defensive coach for the most part and Lawson and Matthews will make as much if not more of an impact that a guy that wears khaki pants on the sideline that will not make one tackle all season.
All that to say, yeah, it is Auburn.

I have been a stalker here for a long time but just don't post as much as some (all) of you. Haven't been kicked off AU board. But I come here to speak the truth, brothers. It is true, in my opinion, that AU is getting WAAAAAY to much love in betwixt the last game and before the first one.
EVERY year for the last millennium that AU was rated high preseason it has resulted in a wet fart type year.

I swear part of the problem around here is folks seem to think Jones has been around a lot longer than he actually has. 2013 was his first season.

Don't worry. Preseason doesn't matter. Ole Miss never produces when they have preseason hype. Remember when Jevan Snead was an early Heisman candidate and they reached top 5 in the rankings? Then they shite the bed and finished 9-4?
