Meh, that's such a gimmicky penalty. Having two players wear the #2 on their jerseys doesn't competitively give someone an athletic advantage, especially not on a FG block attempt.

ND was good that year. Assisted by not playing great competition that year but Bama was just heads and above better than everyone that season unless you were johnny manziel.

The irony in this DD, is that was the only season in the past 5 years they WEREN'T ranked in the Preseason top 25. Didn't read the article but I'm guessing since Nebraska was the most overrated for the past 25 seasons that is how far back they went.

The season you mentioned is one of 3... THREE seasons in that time span where they finished higher in the post season rankings than they were ranked preseason.

True. In hindsight that SEC Championship really was the NC game that year.

Agreed. I see why they ranked Nebraska OVER the span of the last 25 years.

I just remember all too well that 2000 Bama team as being one of the most disappointing teams in a single season WITHIN the last 25 years.

Georgia by far. It's even worse living near these mutts. They walk around like they are the Alabama of the East but in reality they are like a middle tier Big 12 school.

That's why Georgia womped a Big 12 program in their bowl games last year.

There's not a football historian alive that would rate Georgia Tech over Georgia in any ranking of college football's best programs ever. Georgia's Top 15 all-time. Georgia Tech's Top 30 at best.

Oklahoma finishes top 5-10 nearly every year and typically clown stomps an sec team in a bowl idiot. In fact OU has finished in the top 10 six times in the past 10 years, 4 of those being top 5 finishes.

Because you play inferior competition.

That's what overrated means.

Lol. Well it's kinda hard to disagree with georgia being the most overrated team. They really havent done shite since 1980 and they have been ranked in the to 10 more years than not.

And had Bama not driven the whole field in the last 2 minutes of the LSU game, it would've been LSU vs UGA playing for the opportunity to destroy Notre Dame in the national championship.

Had Trey Williams not been caught from behind on the kickoff return at the 20, it would be A&M vs. Georgia for the opportunity to rape Manti Teo's fake girlfriend.

Not even close. Oklahoma hasn't had a losing season since 1998, unlike a certain school who has been overrated since the beginning of time and has had 3 consecutive losing seasons.
