I hate LSU as much as the next guy but I don't get this one. LF is going to be an outstanding back. There are much more overrated players, he's at least somewhat living up to the top recruit hype.

He's getting pumped up as a Heismsn candidate and had a lower YPC than Jonathan Williams

Mullen really wanted Dobbs. That makes me think he's got it more than what I read from UT fans.

The question wasn't the worst back in the SEC. The question was most overrated. If you can't see his hype vs his production I can't help you

You're an Arkansas fan. You're not going to think highly of any LSU player.

Not sure why my fandom matters. Are you saying he isn't overhyped?

bullshite, more Tennessee threads are started by non-Tennessee fans than by all the Vol posters combined.

It's ok though, this board will get its comeuppance.

I'll admit that he didn't light the world on fire but to call him overrated is just retarded. He only averaged around 14 attempt a game.
It's not unthinkable in his 2nd season behind an experienced line and maybe decent QB play, that he could be a definite game changer. But you are a hog fan.....

You're being foolish to judge a back as a freshman. The fact that he got on the field is impressive. You shouldn't be depending on first year talent unless they are truly outstanding, 1 in 1000 type players, and he worked into the starting position on a deep team.

Yah a running back with over 1000 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns is overrated on a team thats shares a lot of the carries

RB is generally considered the easiest position to make a contribution as a freshman. We see more freshman RBs than any other position. That's a lame argument

Also to the guy talking about he only got 14 carries a game. Thanks for proving my overhyped comment for me

I would say Myles Garrett but only because his numbers are skewed and really only put up those numbers against weak competition. That said, he still has tons of potential to be really good.

Jeremy Johnson and it isn't even close.

Never seen a more hyped player for someone who couldn't beat out a RB/S at QB.
