Ole Miss 2009. I have never heard so many racist remarks in my life. I was intimidated.
Just playing with you guys. There were some pretty darn nasty things said, but I'm sure it was just a bad section of the stadium I was sitting in.

BDS was silent...and then LSU fumbled...the noise from zero to 110 on the decibel meter was scary.
even the pom pom shakers were loud.
This was 2001.

Mississippi State vs. Florida in 2009. Ive never been to a crazier game in starkville. The stadium was so damn loud from all the cowbells you couldnt talk to the person next to you. Id give an arm and a leg to go and rewatch that game even tho it was an L.

98 Akry @ Miss.St. Bullies win at the end and tear the goal posts down.

In my 18 years of life, I have been to Neyland 50+ times but have yet to go to another SEC campus besides vandy.
Vandy's pregame is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. Ugly cheerleaders line up and down the field and try to get a "sellout" crowd to chant V-A-N-D-Y which morphes into 90% of the fans wearing orange doing the V-O-L-S cheer. Vandy comes onto their own field in a shower of boos and a foghorn.

Was at that game. Good win. You guys just came in and calmly swallowed us up. I want to say that I viewed Saban yawning.
Hate to hear about your experience. I dislike fans being provoked at other stadiums. Sucks.

I would say LSU is intimidating because of the craziness of the fans. Having fans yelling "tiger bait" in your face is a bit over the top. I still don't know what "tiger bait" is exactly or "gator bait". But baiting a tiger would usually mean that tiger is about to get fricked up. Tiger meal? or Tiger prey? Bait always was odd to me.
What don't you understand? You are Tiger/Gator Bait.

Th most intimidating entrance is the sight of Houston Nutt leading his team out of the tunnel. Well, it is if you're a fan of the team he is leading out of the tunnel anyway.

My first trip to Baton Rouge we walked forever trying to find some beer. Finally got some and was just carrying it around and drinking it straight out of the box can by can. We thought this was awesome anyway because we could never do that in Tuscaloosa.
Anyway, we start walking down this street and its lined with LSU fans and they are giving us hell. We get to this hill and start walking down it and these cops start going nuts telling us to get to the sidewalk.
We get there and start asking questions, "the band is coming." We whoopty doo, it's just a band.
Nah, it's not just a band. Golden Girls gave me a 30% woody and the first four notes of that song is something I'll never forget. This was in 2000 too, so we got to see some crazy stuff that night including two dudes that mooned Bama's huddle and of course the first win by LSU over Bama in Tiger Stadium since 1969.
I haven't missed a trip since.
Runner Ups:
-The eagle at AU
-UGA's bugle
-National Championship game seeing a kid I coached jump in the stands and hug his family
-Three Best Rammer Jammers
1) Auburn '08 played it 6 times in a row for obvious reasons
2) UT '07 loudest one I've ever heard
3) SECCG '09 with Tebow on the jumbotron crying

OM's band used to play Dixie - great tradition.
They don't do that anymore do they?

I'm going to break 2 rules by going non-SEC and Auburn.
1. When FSU's Chief Wanasakee (or whatever) comes out on that wild arse looking horse, and throws the flaming spear into the middle of the field. This is a much bigger deal when FSU is worth a shite and there is a ton of crowd energy behind it.
2. The Eagle...obviously, my sentimental favorite but trying to be objective, I give the nod to FSU
3. LSU....4 notes.

Isn't bait used to catch or really frick up the animal that is being baited?
Are we over this?
Or inside this?

I do like that LSU has a tiger, although having cheerleaders sit on his cage while pulling him around the field is a bit degrading. I say build a big hamster tube type thing that goes along the sidelines and let him run through it.

"Awe-Inspiring thing"
When the members of the Univ. of Arkansas FFA Club decided to frame up some 2x4s and staple a red and black painted canvas over it so their team could run through a hand-crafted pig nose entrance way.
