Great effort...but that was in the 13-team SEC era.

For my team?

2011 #1 LSU ovver #3 Arky 41-17

Immediately followed by...

2011 #1 LSU over #12 UGA 42-10

In all honesty, the entire 2011 season was just impressive. Beating 7 ranked teams by fairly large margins. Even though we lost the BCS title game (which I would say is a very impressive win) it was still one of the most exciting seasons I have ever seen and probably will ever see.

Flat? Could have been that LSU dominated Alabama the entire night except the last 2 minutes of each half.
Alabama had 0 first downs and 30 yards total offense in the 2nd half til Chavis blew it at the very end.

Entire night? You realize it was 14-3 at halftime in favor of Alabama.

2011 was the best season I've experienced as a fan, until I got to my seat in the Superdome.

The 2007 and 2003 finishes were obviously more fun, but the first 13 games of 2011 were amazing.

I think he is referring to the "entire night" outside of 2 minutes left in half and 4th quarter.

14 of your 21 points came against soft prevent on the last drive of half and game

Thats fair, y'all won. But Les did go out of his way to lose this game.
-fake fg (didn't work)
-went for it on 4th instead of fg (didn't work)
-surprise onside kick (didn't work)
-missed FG

His team was lining up and winning that game straight up.
He got too cute and it cost him

That's a fair assessment. LSU certainly made mistakes and it cost them, but you guys are saying it like Alabama didn't make any of their own that game. In fact, Alabama was inside the LSU 10 yard line and Yeldon fumbled. LSU capitalized on it by throwing a TD to Landry to go up 17-14.

Really it was just a great game.

I agree. Any team that has lost 5 in a row to another team has no reason to make excuses, moral victories, or even expect things to change this season. Just STFU and accept it.

Yeldon fumbles about cost Bama the 12 and 14 LSU games. Though he did make up for the fumble in the 12 game.

For LSU, it was clearly beating Texas A&M in 2012 who finished the season ranked #5.

Didn't even remember you all being ranked that high. LSU kept y'all out from the big one

That's because it was a very empty ranking. They were never in contention for the natty that year

LSU kept us from the NC game that year against subpar Notre Dame team. As Adele said, could of had it all. Thanks a lot.

Ole Miss actually. Came in top five after beating a stout Bama team, and destroyed them.
