Some toothless swamp trash parents had their 2 kids follow me and my group of about 10 friends around everywhere we went the entire time we were there. These kids were maybe 5-6 and 8-10, and screamed TIIIIIIIGER BAIT!! TIIIIIIIIIIGER BAIT! at the top of their lungs literally everywhere we went the entire 5-6 hours we were there. Their parents weren't even sitting anywhere near us and these kids followed us to our seats and sat behind us the entire game, yelling nonstop the ENTIRE time. Any time one of the people from our group would go down to the concourse for something, one of the kids would break off and follow screaming the entire time. It was insane and one of the most annoying and classless things I've ever experienced. Several of their fellow LSU fans that sat around us were getting pissed at these kids because of their shrill nonstop screaming.

My other experiences with LSU fans aren't bad. That one just always sticks out in my mind.

It's definitely not us. Vandy gives you 3/4 of their stadium seating, I'll go with them. Mizzou has the nicest fans, havent been there yet to judge their hospitality.

Well I'm nice to people, so I blame you. I feel like we're pretty good, so long as you aren't UofL. Then some quasi-racist stuff might be said. I was walking with a white UofL fan in a golf polo and some cats fans were still giving this dude "ghetto trash" shite. It was stupid.

We've got our fair share of good and bad is all I was implying. I've had to get vocal with some visiting fans who don't know how to act, sure.

the absolute worst stadium I've visited is auburn. my van spare tire was slashed and my wife and I were subjected to lots of abusive language by several young punks that were drunk on their butts.

Wait, an elderly LSU fan being abused at Auburn? Is this opposite day?

i. I once saw a LSU grandma hurl a used tampon into a crowd of unsuspecting Miami fans...and LSU wasnt even playing Miami!

Why would a grandma need a tampon?

Only place I've been treated overall inhospitably is UGA, but even then we had some interactions and conversations with some great UGA people. In my experience most SEC schools treat away fans pretty decent and there seems to be a healthy understanding within this conference of treating away fans with respect and healthy dose of good natured trash talk.

Its really how it is in the south. Not that they would have an opposite interaction in the north, people in the south are just more open and inviting. However, interestingly the greek life in the two regions is the polar opposite

Isn't that a waste? How as they supposed to drink booze that is soaked up in a tampon? Seems like a flask is an easier way to sneak stuff in.

it all depends on where you go. 90% of the places you go in athens you'll either be ignored, brought in for food and drinks, or given some light razzing.

If you're walking down fraternity row on milledge then yeah, you're gonna have a bad time. Simple solution, don't walk down fraternity row on gameday as a visitor.

I've been to a shite ton of stadiums and I've been treated well pretty much everywhere. And even the places I've been treated like shite, it's only because I was amongst a large group of 18-22 year olds who haven't grown up yet, but I don't hold that against the entire town or fanbase.

Yeah is almost always fraternity kids that are the most obnoxious. Which, most of their charters call for gentlemanly conduct, so I don't really get that.

In my experience in college, most of them are kids who were never good enough to be really competitive in any sports, so the football team functions(for them) as an extension of their ego. I did have a few fellow athletes who were members of fraternities, but not one of them acted like asses.

This, they actually thank you for coming to the stadium. I figure a few more years in the SEC will stop this.

I haven't been to an away game yet, so it's hard to say.

Only fan-base I have had interaction with in person is Georgia when they came up in 2012 for our first SEC matchup. They seemed pretty cool and we had some friendly pre-game razzing with each other before the game, so based on my small sample size I'd say UGA fans seem cool.

Most of the responses I heard from Georgia fans before, during, and after the game were that our fans were too nice

Good bama fans are the best I've interacted with. By the same token the bad bama fans are the worst.

LSU: will yell tiguh bait in your face, then shake your hand and give you whiskey drinks, food, etc. I've had 2 great trips to Baton Rouge and hopefully get to go again soon.

Bama: Rawll tahhhd in your face, then friendly as well. LOVE Tuscaloosa

Ole Miss: if youre dressed up, they will casually greet you but not overly welcoming

State: Great folks, no complaints

Florida: shoot me in the face they're awful

Georgia: Class as frick and closest thing you'll get to the kindness of hog fans.

I've always liked LSU, but can see that deal going sideways in a hurry. I haven't been to Mizzou but they get rave reviews from my fellow Dawg fans.

I actually like AU fans for the most part (real fans, not fake Internet arseclowns). I almost feel guilty when I spit on them in Athens
