According to the general public. Every swamp kitten on this website thought we were all being crazy. It was hilarious.

I am very disappointed.

Maimi - JD'd that game away
LSU - Ole Miss beat them for Pete's sake
Mizz - uggh, Big 12 upper middle of the pack team
BYE - toss up
UG - Ace Bandage Bowl
USC - who knows if Spurrier will be sober
UG South - triple option - frick, frick, frick
FSU - Jameis take our anus - no FSU fans not literally - don't get all excited

I'm gonna go with Georgia, as I would have guessed to start the season. After the LSU win, I thought I was wrong, but I wasn't.

Yeah I'm disappointed with how the season turned out for sure. But this clearly is out of our hands losing 10 starters to injury. You really can't overcome losing your 5 best playmakers on offense. If we're healthy then I think we're sitting at 6-1 going in to Jacksonville.

I didn't have high expectations for LSU
9-3 was the prediction with 8-4 a real possibility.

They scored more points. It's not really rocket science.

A&M, easily

people thought A&M were a legit threat to Bama this year

UGA gets a pass with their shitty luck (still no excuse losing to fricking Vandy though)

most people predicted LSU to lose 2-3 games, so that seems right on schedule to me

Expectations for LSU were not extremely high preseason. I would say Georgia and their misfortunes.

LSU fans starting to justify their season by saying that they expected to lose 2-3 games. I recall them bragging about how their offense wouldn't be stopped by anyone this year.

go look at any pre-season prediction thread for LSU this year, and most would be in the 10-2 or 9-3 range

a lot of LSU fans got a little too optimistic when they saw the offense in the beginning on the year, but I think any realistic LSU fan knew deep down that the defense would cost us a few games

On the secrant you couldn't mention LSU and anything about them not being great without someone jumping down your throat. Someone would joke about tdecline and it would turn in to a 15 page flame fest.

It depends on when in the season you start from.

At the beginning of the season, LSU and A&M had reasonable expectations that it would be a tough row to hoe through the SEC West. Georgia, on the other hand, was expected to run the table again and go to the SEC Championship game. So, from pre-season perspective, I'd say it is UGA.

However, after LSU fans saw the first few games, they were convinced that Cam Cameron was the second coming of Gus and they were a team that truly couldn't be stopped. The UGA loss didn't phase them much, because Georgia was supposed to be good and they still had control of their own destiny. Freezus then showed Mettsiah who the real savior was and now LSU fans are on suicide watch. They have reverted back to pre-season "Saban gone" and schedule posts.

So, from that perspective, I'd say LSU.

...A&M only ever cared about JFF, not winning. He's doing well, so they are still happy.

I don't know how you can say this.

UGA was expecting to beat Bama in the SEC Championship game and play for a title.

Every A&M poster believed they would finish no less than 2nd in the SEC and if they beat Bama play for a title.

A lot more LSU fans thought we had a good chance to beat Bama the way they were playing early on but after seeing our joke of a defense changed their tune. Our schedule is just too much, something Bama fans wouldn't know anything about.

I'd say it's a toss up between UGA and A&M. Because now both teams have come to the realization this was their best chance of ever winning a title and now it's gone.

And if we didn't have 10 starters out to injury this year, with the way we were playing at the beginning of the year, we would've had a really good shot.

I think LSU is about where they were supposed to be b/c of all the defections to NFL on defense. Assuming they do well down the stretch they should finish in top 10. They would have exceeded expectations based on the experts.... Both their losses have been away from home w opponents last drive to win the game. Defense is just too "green" to be a top flight team this season.

Georgia just had a run of terrible luck with injuries. I think the fan base is disappointed in all the injuries not necessarily the team.

A&M's defense is a train wreck. If they had any kind of defense they would be #1. I would say Texas A&M is the most disappointing simply b/c they are healthy and both their losses were at home.

Let's see how the rest of the season plays out before labeling teams as "DISAPPOINTING." There is still a lot of great football yet to be played and (in LSU's case) they should only get better and better...... Who knows we may be declaring Alabama as disappointing when all is said and done. Geaux Tigers!

And if LSU didn't lose 20 starters to the NFL we would be undefeated. You have to play the hand that's dealt to you. There so many ifs.......

Edited for losers

How is it not A&M?

You have had the BEST player in all of CFB for 2 years and can even win your conference.

Sad really.

For the most part, LSU hasn't lost b/c of its O for the 1st time in 4 years.

Its the D.
