En-ricky was mighty disappointing. So bad they tried to switch him to linebacker halfway through his senior year.

As far as smoke being blown up our rear and a guy never panning out, I can think of two big ones for Ole Miss...Michael Spurlock and Ronald McLendon.

Always have a bit of a soft spot in my heart for Robert. He almost beat LSU with his feet one year playing QB (he certainly wasn't going to do it with his arm).

Yeah, but at the time that we signed him he was one of the best quarterbacks we had ever signed. I remember being so excited, and then he flat out sucked.

I'm glad Ole Miss could steal these guys away from Auburn.

As a side note, I still praise Rodney Scott for not moving after Zac Etheridge sustained his neck injury. There's no telling what could've happened if Scott had pushed him to the side. Etheridge might not even be walking right now.

Of "Rockin' the 2" fame? Didn't he go to State because #2 was taken at Ole Miss, or am I crazy?

I don't think I can even pick just one...

Kris Frost, Trovon Reed, Kiehl Frazier, LaDarius Owens, Jeff Whitaker...all underachieved. Frazier probably the biggest disappointment.

LSU trading Robert Lane for jamarcus sure worked out for us.

Jorvorskie? Really? Sherman moved him to fullback his senior season, and the guy never touched the ball again. Not exactly his fault.

If you want to go for underperformance out of that backfield, how about his partner Mike Goodson? 400-something yards in his best season as the starting/featured RB, and was a fumble machine.

Honorable mention goes to Jerrod Johnson, who was body-snatched prior to his senior season.
