Most Delusional Fan Base?

OK...everyone should be optimistic about their team at the start of the year. That's what this is all about after all.
Which fans are just the most stubbornly delusional?
I'm not trolling...Hog fans are notoriously optimistic and we can stretch a few wins into as many what if's and how buts as anyone going. The problem at Arkansas is that for the past two years we haven't woken up until late October. We've been as good in November as anyone and seem to be improving.
Ole Miss fans seem to be overly 'stoked' when they're winning. Understandably so as it hasn't really happened that often. They DO seem to accept it and at least be able to see reality after it sets in. Can't really blame them for being happy.
Bama fans, well..damn...they should be trash talking.
Mizzou knows they're posers and their fans are typically well behaved. I suspect they go get concessions for the fans of real teams that play them. Same with Vandy, Kentucky and of late...South Carolina.
State fans. Hmm. I don't know many that can type, so I can't comment much.
LSU fans are, in my opinion, the most ridiculously delusional humans on the planet. How many times must Arkansas butt stomp them before they stop with the pitiful excuses?
Last year it was 'we didn't care...the weather was bad'. This year, with literally everything to play for, the "Saturday night in Baton Rouge" hype...everying...you'd think there is no excuse.
You'd be wrong.
It is my opinion that LSU fans should refer to Arkansas as "Our overlord and masters" until they manage to compete with us on the field of play. There's little doubt that they won't shutup and that they WILL come up with the most pussyfied excuses for getting their asses handed to him imaginable.
But...that's LSU. The tradition. The glory.
Fournette does have 100 yards CARREER against Arkansas now. There's an accomplishment. Run with it.

I've found Arkansas fans to be pretty delusional on other boards I go to.

Arkansas
Seriously. The Hogs are my second favorite team because I lived there 13 years and have a degree from the UA system but Hog fans are so desperate to be what they were 50 years ago.
Without a doubt.

OK..guilty. Couldn't help myself.
My real point is...how many arse whippings will it take before LSU fans stop whining?

Arkansas fans are the most delusional for thinking that stomping a mudhole in LSU 2 years in a row would make a dent in their hubris.

You are correct...hog fans badly want to be good again. Most think we're headed the right direction.
We don't however come up with 1000 jackass excuses every time we get our arse handed to us.

Auburn fans....followed by LSU fans...
Both fan bases talked an incredible amount of shite this season.

Again, I pull for the Hogs but many get way to confident with a few wins.
Best example was the Petrino years. Those first 3 or 4 cupcakes would have y'all lathered into a frenzy and then Bama would bring a dose of reality.
Glad to see the game the Hogs bring now.

Arkansas and your OP is proof positive. Riddle me this, when is the last time Arkansas finished a season with fewer losses than LSU?

"McFadden, Hillis and Jones didn't play hard because they are going pro, and our coach left before the bowl game."
"Allen was hurt for the whole game, if he is healthy we win easily"

If you didn't read, how would you know the thread should be anchored?
Oh you read it.

Try posting this again after Ark wins any type of championship.

For the record, I'm pretty realistic about arkansas. I picked them to lose 4 games before all our injuries happened. But this is the rant and unless there's a hurricane I'll be in full sail

That was a heck of a Cotton Bowl. Mizzou didn't even need Chase Daniel to win. That little RB no one outside of Missouri had ever heard of absolutely destroyed the Arkansas defense.
