No LSU fan believes football started in 2001...That is just the universal timeframe we all believe the sport radically improved. Baseball was on a roll for a while there.

Like every other fanbase wouldn't act the exact same way if they got to celebrate even half the success Bama has had. Also, you can dispense with the "fans didn't have anything to do with it" bullshite. If that were the correct attitude than spectator sports wouldn't exist. Bama fans pay good money for Saban.
