Exactly. That was a huge hire.

I've just seen too many young players like Tavon Austin go grossly under-and-ill utilized.

Tavon Austin is just not a very good reciever. He is a slot reciever that provides matchup problems. He took the Jets to an AFC title game with the 10th ranked offense in the league relying on a strong running game and playaction. He has had some shitty offenses in the NFL but he has also been stuck with the likes of Mark Sanchez and oft injured Sam Braford and we know the rams are lacking talent on offense as a whole. It's a fresh start for him and I have a feeling his youthfulness and his extreme amount of NFL experience will help especially in recruiting. I don't think it was the sexiest hire but it's not going to ruin our program either.

Meh. You may be right.

And hey, we're both happy with the hire, right?

I'm guessing y'all's gameplan is going to be to keep pounding the Chubb and play defense, so he may actually work out in that regard. If you are looking for anything imaginative, any development out of your QB or play calling that makes sense then you probably won't be happy.

I don't know why you guys are so concerned with what Schott did at one of the least talented and most poorly ran franchises in the NFL. He won't running Jeff Fisher's offense at UGA, he'll be running Coach Richt's. I'm sure he'll add his own tweaks to it eventually, but for know, he'll be doing what CMR says.

He's been shite nearly every year, at both spots. The only time he had a decent offense he had the best OL in the NFL and they were very run heavy. Like I said, y'all have good backs so it might work out for you.

We'll see. Every Rams fan I know was ecstatic to see him go.

I'm looking forward to seeing his game planning, red zone calls, and game time adjustments

As long as he does a lot of passing in the red zone and don't utilize your ground game I'm good with it

The Arky OC search is boring me to death. No leaks, the speculation is worthless, and no rumors are floating around.

Do you honestly think Richt would let that happen?

JMO, I think it's highly likely that Rams fans hate their next OC just as much. When you have a shite QB and shite for weapons, you're going to have a bad time in the NFL.

You mean let this happen again (see USC game)? We'll see.

You think your run defense will be as stout as it was last year? It was pretty legit.

Rams actually have plenty of weapons. The QB I'll give you though. He was shite when Bradford was healthy as well.

Look, I get it. You guys are hoping for the best. I don't blame you.

That’s an excellent opportunity for any coach. Georgia always has a whole bunch of good players. They probably have been the most consistent team in the East. Well, maybe they haven’t, heck we’ve beat them four out of five years, but overall they have probably been one of the best teams on the Eastern side.”

Like who? Austin is a good slot receiver type. That's all that really jumps out in terms of NFL playmakers. I watched the Rams in Washington, and they clearly weren't stacked on offense by any means.

Since when was Sam Bradford considered a good NFL QB?

Quick, Britt, Austin, Bailey, Cook, Kendricks and Mason.

That is plenty of talent to field at least a competent offense. Like I said though, the QB issue is a legitimate excuse
