Agreed, for Mizzou it is Brad Smith. Older fans might say Kellen Winslow.

Paul Bryant goes on that list. People forget he played there.
Pat Trammel has to be on the Bama list. What a great guy!

I'd say Lattimore, Shaw and Rodgers would be the top three for our fanbase, IMO. Tannyhill, McKinley, Garcia, Sharpe, Clowney, Rice, Norwood, Gilmore, Jeffrey, Ingram and Wadiak would probably round out most fans top 10 in some kind of order.

What do you mean by "beloved"? Like maybe not a great player but like a Rudy type character?

Alabama - TOo many to choose from. to pick one would make me feel like I am cheating on another.

Auburn - Bo Jackson. Always shows class. Seems very humble and respectful. But I would love to be BFF with Barkley.

Arkansas - McFadden. Loved watching him play. seems like a good dude.

Kentucky - white boy returner from the early 2000s.

USC - Stephen Garcia

ATM - Ray CHildress. My dad did some business with him when I was growing up. Always thought that was pretty cool.

LSU - Jacob Hester. I really wanted to put Rohan Davey. I was at the 2001 game and was flabbergasted as to how a full back could run and throw like that. Was not fun to watch for me.

Georgia - Knowshon Mareno. Superman dance was pretty awesome. If he didnt go full shithead I would have put Isaiah Crowell. Simply Because of this video. LINK

Vandy - Awesome wide received from this previous year. cant rememebr his name.

Mizzou - Henry Josey. The way he cam back from injury was pretty great.

Since the OP specified player only I'd go with either Pat Trammel or Lee Roy Jordan.

Chase Daniel for Mizzou. That guy bleeds black and gold and is still very involved with Mizzou

Kentucky its between Tim Couch, Andre Woodson or Randall Cobb.

Lorenzen was good, but he was more famous for being fat than anything. Outside of UK fans, he is what most people think of(They had that fat qb right?) when UK football is mentioned. Besides losing of course.

I'm in my 40's; and you're right about Hilliard and Hodson. I'd put them at the top for my generation, to be honest.

While I try to hate A&M, I always rooted for Bucky (he was from BR and we went to opposing high schools at the same time. Good to see a local kid do well).
Respected Dat Nguyen, too.
