I never said that, I was responding to someone who said they're worded so that it takes a while to answer each one

Well, I wrote that they are worded in a way that makes you take your time. And I stand by that. You're given 12 minutes (I was mistaken earlier when I wrote 15) to answer 50 questions. And yes, I would assume a question like,
quote:

"In printing an article of 48,000 words, a printer decides to use two sizes of type. Using the larger type, a printed page contains 1,800 words. Using smaller type, a page contains 2,400 words. The article is allotted 21 full pages in a magazine. How many pages must be in the smaller type?"
takes a little bit of time to read and answer.

If I have a reading disability, as Mo does, I'm sure I would find this exam frustrating and difficult, especially given the time constraints and the pressure of his future.

it was pretty dumb of him to not take it seriously. That being said, he's now playing for his childhood favorite, and considering his work on the field at LSU, i have no problem saying he will work his butt off and will eventually be a Pro-Bowl CB.

Without a doubt

Watching him fall all the way to 6th because of it proves the immense importance of this test in the eyes of the owners and GM. Truly baffling why so many players don't take it more seriously.

wow, that's not what I was saying at all. did you even read the rest of my post? in case you didnt, I'll paraphrase. "I don't think it hurt him because he's a phenomenal player."

i see football players & other sports professionals on tv & i see improvement from high school to after they retire. college is not for everyone. yes, they are those that are exceptions to the rule, but give them a break. for the most part, they learn to give back to the community, with a few exceptions & we are seeing it here in new orleans with two pro teams

No one has said that

There have been plenty of auburn dumbasses but the difference is I'm embarrassed by them and I know they're an embarrassment to the school I attended

LSU fans seem completely nonchalant about it

Mo is a classy young man, now playing for his childhood favorite team, earning millions of dollars doing it.

I and most LSU fans are happy for the kid and really don't care about what he scored on an apparently worthless test.

If you are "embarrassed" by this kind of thing, you really need to find yourself a life.

I'm sure Jerry Jones is more concerned with his effort on the field than his effort while sitting at a desk pouring over a test he was ill-prepared and ill-equipped to handle. He drafted him for his abilities as a shutdown corner, not for his keening wit. If this is indicative of some kind of attitude problem like you may be hinting at, then the Cowboys will send his arse packing, Mo won't be quite as rich as he could have been, and that'll be that. I don't think that's what's gonna happen.

Sounds like he doesn't give a shite for the test. All of us would love to be in a position where we can tell everyone we don't give a shite.

Why should you be embarrassed? Those kids aren't pro students. Should the Auburn basketball team be embarrassed b/c you can't jump?

Oh for fricks sake

Do I wish all LSU alumni/former players hold themselves in the highest regard and represent the university well. Of course. Am i gonna feel all sad and "embarrassed" when a top 10 pick makes a shitty score on a meaningless test? Sorry, but no.

Get over yourself

You don't face palm almost every time a pro that went to your school opens their mouth?
