SECCG. He only needs to be better than 6 other teams to do that. Final 4 requires a ton of luck, plus being better than over 100 teams.

Final 4 requires making the field, but then you just have to be better than 6 teams once you get there.

this year, or ever?

Arkansas winning the West under Beilema is more likely, imo.... Arkansas isn't beating four straght good/very good teams under Anderson.

Id go Auburn more likely to win a CFB NC in 5 years than Arky to do both in 5

Good for you.

Arkansas is more likely to have back to back 10+ win seasons in the next 5 years than Auburn being able to do so for the first time in program history.

I guess if you repeat this lie enough, it'll be true... right?

Final Four.

Seriously, the field is much more level for basketball. Petrino put some great teams on the football field, and never made it.

Final Four just requires having a good team, and the right NCAA draw.

I tend to agree with this

All it takes is a 4 game win streak to get to the final four for Anderson.

Bert has to compete in the toughest division in all of college sports and probably get through with only 1 conference loss. Then win against Tennessee in the East as we are going to go to 10 straight SEC Title games. That is next to impossible to do.

This was my line of thinking. Duke has lost to Lehigh and Mercer over the last couple of years and look how deep of a run Florida Gulf Cost made. Closer to home is Tennessee's run last year.

There's much more parity in college basketball which givens everyone the chance.

I think our final four chances are better right now. Far easier to field an elite basketball team than football simply because of numbers.
I like our chances for both in a couple of years but i just think with the depth in the west, you could be 2nd or 3rd in the nation and still be 2nd or 3rd in the SEC west.
