The kid Leonard ran over was a safety not a corner.

One defender was flat footed and not moving trying to stop a moving running back. The other was two people running full speed colliding, so you can't really compare them. Compare Fournette against A&Ms safety a couple of years ago to Pettaways hit and then you have a comparison.

I have to figure that you are a poster that most of the rest of the Tide fans are embarrassed by. Your team is ranked #1 and the conversation is about yesterday and you bring up 2014.

Fournette. He almost killed that guy. He had a big head of steam

Not to choose but Anderson rolling over backwards with his legs in the air was funny but the sad thing was if LF had one more yard of sideline he would have taken that one to the house too.

In episode two of LF vs DA, Leonard stiff armed him to the ground for a 78 yd TD...

Completely different plays.

I liked both, however.

Now THAT is SEC football. It was wonderful to watch on both accounts.

That is MAN football.

Congrats to both players. Take as many of those pussies down as you need to.

That is your job.

deep down you know Pettway would whip Fournette's arse and make him like it. just how it is, Pettway is a bad man. lil Fournette dont want none. Fournette = 215 pounds of priss. Bubba is 245 pounds of arse whipping machine. DWI

Will Pettway even start the rest of the season?

Well, one hit ended with being forced out of bound in 2 yards, so it essentially was a tackle.

One hit ended in 6 points so....

Sure he will. We have two starters at RB. He is one of them. We also go about 4 deep at the position.

It ain't even a question. Pettway hits and stumbles his way around. When Fournette hits he dominates and runs right through you no stumbling just pure power. Unmatched power and speed, best back in the country hands down.

Fournette hit and it's not even remotely close.

Who knows. Kid was a H-Back up until two weeks before the season started. Wasn't even suppose to be a running back

We will sue whoever. 543 rushing yards wears everyone out

Two different type of trucking hits.

Fournette's was more violent because he was at full speed. So yes in that sense it was more dominating.

However, in a short distance play Pettway showed quite a bit of power.

Pettway for sure, the Arky db was actually in good position. The ole miss db was in awful position and is lucky he didn't break his neck

If you want to know which one was more dominating , no question it's LF7's hit.

Not even close. OM defend was not even on his feet when LF hit him. Dude was siding to make a tackle. Not that impressive from lf

Pettway. Leonard had a running start and was going full speed going against a guy coming from an angle. If anything that was just terrible tackling. Still beastly though. Pettway basically just went head up and destroyed the dude. Very impressive. Would love to see a Reuben Foster/Pettway collision.
