These rankings are such bullshite. 90% of employers could care less where you got your degree from. If it's regionally accredited then that's usually fine.

I've worked with LSU graduates, ATM graduates, and University of Phoenix graduates who have been fantastic employees. These ranking are sooo overblown.

2013 Washington Monthly: 213 Out of 284 National Universities

This one seems to be as much of an anomaly as USNWR.

the most important thing with a degree is "is your life better because of this?"

if you need a magazine to validate your college experience and education then that's all you need to know about your decision

Too many rankings of schools. It's just like the recruiting services ranking high school players.

Princeton Review is out later this month. I'm not sure where Alabama has ranked there in the past.

All of this is bull shite. So. Yea. Carry on.

They are bullshite but I'd still like to know how we can be 86 on one list and in the 400's on another. Hopefully UA assigns someone to figure this out, it may not amount to a hill of beans but it looks bad.

Alabama below the mississippi schools is pretty suspect, but I'd have to say LSU really is moving up and gaining more national attention for being a good option for college.

As far as college recruiting goes at my company, we only target certain schools. I'm sure it varies by the employer, but we are a Fortune 100 company and have a very specific college recruiting effort.

Let me guess, that's the ranking that has Bama the highest?

And yet the Money and Forbes lists give weight to ratemyprofessor.com. How you can insinuate that they are any more legitimate than USNWR is beyond me.

Everyone of these lists can be debunked.

ratemyprofessor.com

I could go on that website and pretend to be a former student/grad of any school I wanted to and could give all the professors an F. Yep, that sounds like a foolproof system that can't be manipulated in any way.

LMFAO .. Alabama fan says:

Of course .. the implied reasoning that goes along with this statement does not apply when it comes to claiming Football National Championships. ROFL
