Alec Rash, recruit - Phillies 2nd round
Blake Brown - Braves 5th round
Brian Jackson, recruit - Tampa Bay 5th round
Hunter Haynes, recruit - Kansas City 13th round
Eric Garcia - Braves 20th round
Ben Turner - SF Giants 21st round
Black Holovach - Mariners 27th round

shite, Buttrey is as good as gone. I read the other thread about him and didn't realize he was a hog signee, I don't really keep up with baseball recruiting because we lose so many to the draft. I just pay attention to the guys that come to school.

His dad was quoted in the article that he wasn't going to miss negotiating for millions of dollars just to rehearse graduation.

I'd have rather not had to go through it, It's like celebrating something you're supposed to do anyway.

It seemed like Florida had every current player and recruit get drafted.

5 starting position players and 2 of their 3 weekend starters.

They should have a drop off next year it's hard to replace all of that experience.

Updated. But I don't know any of the OM recruits except the 1 I listed.

Shortstop Gavin Cecchini of Barbe High School in Lake Charles, La., went 12th overall to the New York Mets. Stryker Trahan, a catcher for Acadiana High in Scott, La., went 26th to the Arizona Diamondbacks. And Ty Hensley, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound pitcher from Edmond, Okla., went 30th to the New York Yankees.
