Based on the limited action I've seen so far, assuming no serious injuries occur:

Sat, Sep 8 Georgia 6:45 pm (ESPN2)
35%: This will be one of the biggest games in Mizzou's history as Mizzou plays its first SEC game against Big 6 opponent Georgia. The atmosphere and energy at Faurot should help keep us in the game alongside those Georgia suspensions.

Sat, Sep 15 Arizona State 6:00 pm (ESPN2)
75%: Mizzou should have beaten this team last year in Tempe had it not been for Pinkel icing our kicker. ASU lost not only its QB and best defensive player (Vontaze Burfict), but also bring in a new HC after letting Dennis Erickson go at the end of last season. I don't see Mizzou dropping this one at home.

Sat, Sep 22 at South Carolina TBD
40%: The combination of playing away at the other Columbia alongside South Carolina's stout defensive front will give Mizzou fits. However, South Carolina's passing offense was anemic in week one, if Shaw is out long term this could become a very winnable game for Mizzou.

Sat, Sep 29 at UCF TBD
75%: Has the making to be a trap game. On the road, amidst the conference schedule, against a team that looked fairly impressive in week one: blowing out Akron 56-14. George O'Leary is a solid coach as well, despite being a dirtbag.

Sat, Oct 6 Vanderbilt TBD
65% : Vanderbilt has improved drastically under James Franklin, but still appears to be behind the SEC median in most aspects. QB Rogers has the ability to make a big play occasionally, but lacks consistency and makes poor decisions with the ball too frequently. The lines for Vandy are even more undersized than Mizzou's, which should tilt the battle in our favor. Again, I don't see us dropping a game like this at home.

Sat, Oct 13 Alabama TBD
5%: Alabama looked deadly in week one against Michigan. I don't think we have the depth to compete against this semi-pro team. I just hope it doesn't get out of hand, frankly.

Sat, Oct 27 Kentucky TBD
95%: Currently appear to be the worst team in the SEC, looked absolutely awful against a mediocre Louisville team in week one. I can't name one position on the field where they outmatch us. Plus, it's our Homecoming game. Basketball season will be much more interesting against this bunch.

Sat, Nov 3 at Florida TBD
50%: Florida's offense doesn't pose much of a threat, its defense, however, does. If this weren't at the Swamp, I honestly think Mizzou would be the favored team. Florida struggled against inferior competition in week one and without a solid QB to lead them, will likely continue to struggle.

Sat, Nov 10 at Tennessee TBD
40%: Bray and Co. looked impressive in week one - Patterson is the truth. Tennessee's passing offense is likely going to be the class of the SEC this season. The defensive front also looked good against NC State last week. However, the secondary and running game are areas of concern moving forward. Look for this one to be a shoot out, with Tennessee getting the edge at home.

Sat, Nov 17 Syracuse TBD
80%: Syracuse will be outmatched in this one, they dropped a close one against a poor Northwestern team in week one with a nearly non-existent defense for the first three quarters. The offense did look good, but I doubt it will be enough. I don't see them coming to Faurot in November and beating us, (remember, these guys play in a dome).

Sat, Nov 24 at Texas A&M TBD
50% Mizzou plays at Kyle Field for the third consecutive year, having won both of the past two meetings. Last year's match was a shoot-out, ending in a Mizzou OT win. A&M lost talented QB Tannehill from last year's squad and has struggled to find a replacement. Sumlin looks poised to turn things around but Mizzou may be able to get some shots in during that process.

I agree with your assessment, other than the fact that we've "struggled to find a replacement". I think Ags are pretty excited about the replacement (Johnny Manziel), and are anxious to see what he can do.

No they didn't. UL isn't a great team, but they aren't mediocre. They'll probably win 10 games. They're still very young.

Most BCS conference teams would win 10 games with their schedule. They play against zero ranked teams this season.

I think that is a pretty fair game by game breakdown, in my humble opinion.

While I can say that these are maybe fair assumptions. I think that some of these teams like Mizzou in week one did'nt show alot. I'm not underestimating the big dogs of the conference we play this year.

I don't think we seen the true Georgia, Florida or even Tennessee yet.

I like what I seen out of Mizzou in thier game but really it's a game they should have dominated. I didn't like the second quarter letdown though. Pinkel said he's addressing that this week.

This first game against Georgia shood be a good one.
