Stranger things have happened than a first year coach immediately turning a program around to compete for a conference or national title.

But I don't see how that happens considering how this off season has gone along with the talent disparity between UGA/UF and Mizzou.

If Mizzou had some Cam Newton, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray level of QB transfer coming in then it might be possible, but that hasn't happened.

Missouri will never win the East again as long as Mullen/Smart are there.

Not really a realistic goal for the time being IMO but Drink's recruiting momentum will hopefully pay dividends especially with Elite 11 QB Tyler Macon in years to come. Have to stop a 5 game losing streak to UK, stop losing to Vanderbilt and beat SC more than once every 5 years to start thinking about that again.

They will lose no SEC games because there will be no season. That’s their best claim

Any team bringing in a new OC/DC is going to have a tougher time this year.

Teams coached by Drink have won the conference in every single year that he has been a head coach. So a better question would be what is the case against this trend continuing?

Just like there’s no case for Nebraska South to revive the glory years.

Well, let’s see...Drink is the highest winning percentage of any coach in the SEC?

What if I told you Urban Meyer was headed to MIZZOU?

I don't know, Diaz might get Miami back to a competitive level... but I agree, it will be a long while before they are dominant.

Instead of our bagmen using cash, they will all get Covid and hang around each of your starters the week before we play every SEC team. All of your starters will be forced to sit & we will become the undefeated national champions. Book it.
