I think our fans thought Mizzou would roll the East this year. I don't remember the players saying that, with exception to Sheldon Richardson's old man football comment.

I see nothing wrong with this article. As a St. Louis Cardinals fan, I admit that I'm a baseball snob. I'm proud to be one of the greatest fans of one of the greatest teams in baseball history. The only other team with a greater history is the Yankees.
Therefore, I can actually relate to what it must be like to be a Bama fan.
I'm proud to be a Cardinal fan to an almost snobbish level. And to be quite honest...I don't give a frick what other people think about that.
I love my Cardinals as much as any Bama fan loves the Tide.
Nothing to be ashamed of here. In fact, the author was pretty much applauding Bama and their fans for being the very best in college football. What's the issue? That you were called "snobs" in an article by an unknown writer?
Who the frick cares? Grow a penis and some chest hair.

Loved the article but the traveling Bama fans are actually pretty damn cool and fun.
Looking forward to it and I swear we won't poison any of your trees or rub our nut sacks on any of your faces...well it's highly possible that a few Mizzou women will become victim of the "Bama T Bag" so I take that back.

I'm a huge Cards fan too.. I went to school in Milwaukee and everyone thought the Cardinal fan base was snooty and the keepers of the baseball bible.
When you're the best fans, others see you as snooty.. just the way it is I guess.

Well, even though I concede that Bama football has a great history and wild fan support, I urge our northern women to avoid Bama men at all cost.
If this happens, 9 months from now quite a few retarded babies will be born in the State of Missouri and I don't want to pay for those kids with my tax dollars.

It doesn't bother me to be called a snob. I'm certainly snobby about some things, and I'm down to earth about others. If football is one of my snobbisms, so be it. Better to be a snob than country come to town.

I think people get especially irritated when we are snobby and having a down year (or decade).
