They're called Bama national championships, and yes, we have 2

If you had Bama MNC's you would have more than 2

Just curious tho, does Mizzou officially claim them because when I looked they showed none "officially" claimed? I think TAMU claimed 2 once they joined the SEC. Claiming 2007 does seem a stretch thos as you lost to the same team twice in the same year with the worse loss coming late in the year on a neutral field.

So you don't even win your own CCG game and LSU beat Buckynuts in the BCS MNC game but you still claim 2007. that is pretty ballsy! At least everybody else usually likes to back at least to the 70's when making such a claim.

Yes, you are correct!

Mizzou doesn't "officially" claim either of them, no. Just like they don't "officially" claim our pre-NCAA tournament national titles. That's why I've taken it upon myself to claim them for us.

As you're well aware, the NCAA does not declare a national championship in D1 FBS football. Therefore, it's up to 3rd parties to determine the champion. Anderson and Hester poll is part of the BCS system and is as legitimate as many of the past parties such as FWAA championships.

"My team claims 38 football national championships because I am a fan of all SEC teams equally. However, what we really need to support is our women's bowling and rifle teams, it's the one part of our conference (which is the best conference in the best region in the world) that needs the most support. I'll be calling all 12 of my school's athletic directors on Monday to tell them I'll support them moving some of the budget to support those programs and I really hope you all would too."

I'm thoroughly convinced I've solved the riddle.

Chesse Grits = Screwster

Screwster had a similar obsession with Mizzou Athletics, trolled with the alleged rapes that occurred with Mizzou Athletes. Grits continually uses this topic to degrade Mizzou when S/he sees our athletic department having success. We haven't heard from Screwster hardly at all lately. Grits is Screwster, Screwster is Grits, Grits is Ebenezer Scrooge.

No way. Grits doesn't have it in him to actually wholeheartedly support a school like the Rooster.

Missouri just playing for pride Friday.
Even if Mizzou somehow manages to beat the Hogs, Pinkle is too classy of a coach to accept the SECCG invite over a Georgia team that beat them 35-0.

Chesse Grits is Screwster's alter. Screwster got pissed when Mizzou fans started using his Avi to troll him, and S/he had to create a alter ego. Screwster is your classical narcissist.

Interesting, Freudian slip there Sparky? So you indicate that your insecurity is real as you see this as a 12 member conference and not a 14 member one?

As for supporting all sports at a member institution, you make fun of it instead of being a better alumni and actually getting behind it. Why are you threatened by something as simple as supporting something your should embrace being a party of?

Grits seeks credibility from someone who committed to a sig bet, only to back out of said bet and forgo honoring the bet like the rest of the Arkansas fans.

That is a dishonest and Yankee type double-speak.

Anderson and Hester were one determinant of several that were calculated together to award BCS trophies and titles.

If only one poll, out of the 6 that were used, chose Missouri during any particular season, that just isn't enough.

We won't get into the other computer calculations and the Coaches poll, which also didn't choose Missouri.

The BCS was a whole, not individual parts that Yankees get to pick and choose from.

One team getting the UPI vote and another getting the AP vote, in past times, was legit.

After the BCS was formed and agreed upon, even by Yankee university presidents and AD's, like the one's at Missouri, they had to comply to the BCS rules to win a championship.
