beHop, honestly I don't know what to expect. IF one assumes our QB James Franklin is at 100 percent and we go back to playing at the level he was prior to injury, I guess you could do the transitive property thing and look at what Mizzou and Ole Miss both did at Vandy, but I don't think that really works well as I don't think Ole Miss is the same team it was in the first game of the season...

The safe bet would be a fairly high scoring affair and a tight ballgame. I could probably flip a coin as to who wins. The surprises to me would be if one team dominates, or if one of the offenses on either or both sides is shut down.

Oh look multiple Mizzou fans obsessed with USC fans they don't even acknowledge the OP (about their game coming up) and worry about USC fans posting in a thread open to all.

A team should only concentrate on the game at hand. Bye has been tough for several teams across the land. We don't plan on underestimating the potential for an upset!

Sure it is an open thread, but you only care because you need Mizzou to lose a game.

Read the thread, mouth breather. I was responding to a poster that deflected the OP, much like 90% of the responses in here.

This is where I'm leaning. Like you, I don't see rather one dominating. I think the team with the better DL play wins.

In all honesty, I'm a bit nervous. I've seen Frank Tanklin after an injury and it was a problem. Hopefully he's truly 100% and mentally ready for a tough game.

If he is: Mizzou wins 31-21.
If he's not and it takes less than 4 drives to figure it out: Mizzou 28-24
If he's not and it's never figured out: Ole Miss 31-14

Of course. Otherwise we wouldn't give two fricks about Missouri. It's only because of our shortcomings that you are ahead of us. Otherwise, we'd have a .5 game lead. But we don't.

Quit acting like Missouri has won championships. You're one game ahead of us.

It should be a fun matchup. I'm pretty excited about it.

Both offenses are fun to watch.

I don't see how the ability of your QB affects our point total like that but ok

Yeah, I built in some points for the Rebs from Mizzou 4 and outs.

You're acting like we can't talk about Missouri. That's elitist my friend. Missouri isn't elite.

Neither is South Carolina, of course, but I'm not the one censoring other fans.

No Mizzou fan is acting like Mizzou has won championships. Certainly, the USCe fans that are hoping for a Mizzou loss know they have not won a championship.

We haven't done our Ole Miss preview yet, so I don't know about how your strengths/weaknesses match up to us. For us, a lot will depend on James Franklin and the team's chemistry with him back. If you don't have an outstanding OL, our DEs will give Wallace heartburn all night long.

Ask next week. I'll have more for you then. Our game preview should be up next Tuesday.

Nervous. You guys good and at home. I still really like this team. We've played you well historically
Ripping off Mizzeaux:

If Mauk starts and plays like KY Mizzou 38 -31
If Franklin starts and plas like before: Mizzou wins 41-21.
If he's not and it takes less than 4 drives to figure it out: Mizzou 31-24
If he's not and it's never figured out: Ole Miss 28-21

I may be off a couple of points

BTW our D beats your D

OM might win. I certainly picked them to win before the season. But our D hasn't given up 30 points yet this year and y'all are going to score 41? Might happen but I wouldn't put your house on it if I were you.
