They have played a tougher baseball schedule this year than the cocks basketball schedule last year.

But yes, Houston, Illinois, and East Carolina.

Thats probably a fair statement.

Houston

Good win

Illinois

you mean the 5-12, 0 wins vs top 100 teams Illinois?

East Carolina.

Ok this game doesn't even exist. I'm assuming you mean Western Carolina. but neither this team or Illinois is even in the same league as the Houston win.

Georgia is so bad we swept them this weekend and our RPI dropped from 8 to 17.

But seriously, they definitely suck. They hit 12 batters this weekend, walked 21 and had a 4 error game thrown in. We did not play well Saturday or Sunday and still won 5-1 and 7-6 those days.

Bammers RPI is 215th

There are only 299 teams in Division I

The next highest SEC team is Georgia at 182nd

The schedule hasnt been great to this point...thats a given. But, 19 in a row is still 19 in row and it's pretty impressive regardless. MU has a dominate friday night guy who will give them a legit chance of winning every time out and an emerging star to close games out late. The defense has to get much tighter though in league play. I expect the pace to slow now that the competition level is dramatically rising, but they are a scrappy bunch who i think are gonna surprise some folks in the SEC this year.

To be fair, the schedule has been pretty soft, but it's also one that would have seen Mizzou drop 5-7 games already by this time of the year in previous seasons.

That's pretty much what got Jamieson fired. Two years ago Mizzou would have made the NCAA, but they kept losing midweek games to directional schools that had no business beating Mizzou.

This year, Mizzou's taking care of business, but we do recognize that things are about to get real, as the schedule improves dramatically.

That said, it's a great start and we'll take it, and Mizzou does have potentially the best Friday night guy in the SEC in Tanner Houck. He'll give Mizzou as shot to steal a Friday game.

OOC schedule hasn't been great but I still think yall could/should be ranked higher. Think yall get the series this weekend and wouldn't be shocked if you kept the sweep alive.

It might not be an absolute walk through hell covered in gasoline schedule... but you will get that in SEC play as the season goes on. So far this has been a great start to the Missouri season.

Your new coach has really paid off so far.
