Even if this was true (it's not), it wouldn't matter because Mizzou is going to be so bad you won't even notice them.

You're not very intelligent. We improved at the QB position, return several WR's capable of starting for several D1 programs, and nearly everyone on our defensive line/offensive line.

See you in Atlanta, that's if you make it this season

I understand you like Mizzou, but your bias needs to come back to earth a little bit. As of now Bama (Cooper, White, Jones), Auburn (Coates, Louis), UGA (Mitchell, Conley, Bennett), Tennessee (North, Howard(?), Malone), MSU (Lewis), and Ole MIss (Treadwell) all have better receiving cores/players than Mizzou. Bama's probably the best out of the bunch.

Agreed because what we have right now is unproven.

OP: Mizzou is unproven right now but trust me they're all terrific!

OP: It can't be (team not Mizzou) because they are unproven! I will argue these points for 9 pages!

Congrats OP you have somehow made this an even shittier board.

Everyone is overlooking the most obvious thing. A great QB doesn't need the best receivers to win. Mauk has that "It" factor and makes everyone else around him better. This article talks about some highlights from the 2nd scrimmage . Last season no one heard about Jimmie Hunt, Levi Copelin, or J'Mon Moore.

Mauk on Copelin:

“He’s a guy that can get in there and get open,” Mauk said. “He’s got the hands. He’s got the speed. Shoot, he ran a low 4.3 (40-yard dash.) He’s got what it takes. We just have to get him consistent.” 2 REC 29 YDS in 2nd scrimmage (1 catch for 24 yds)

Mauk also completed a 34 yd pass to Jimmie Hunt, and it should be noted Hunt had his best four games in the games Mauk started in place of injured Franklin. It should also be noted that the other QB's in the 2nd scrimmage struggled to get the ball to the receivers during the scrimmage completing less than 50% of their passes. It is not necessarily the receivers folks.

Mauk will be in the Heisman conversation before the season is over.

Sure everyone else has their 3*, 4*, and 5* WR's, but not all of them have the ability to create mismatches against opposing defenses.

I'm sure the other SEC coaches recruit their WRs based on the inability to create mismatches.

"Best" is a little bit subjective, but if anyone is trying to argue that any group of WRs (maaaaaaaaybe Bama could get in the convo) in the SEC is more talented than Tennessee, then they are an idiot.

This is not entirely accurate. UGA was after him in November and had he flipped then he would be a Dawg, but once in the state playoffs, he did not play well and actually did not hear much from UGA at all after the first playoff game. We completely backed off. Use whatever reason you want, I think we all know what the real reason is. I'm just saying that you weren't fending us off until NSD like they make it sound, we stopped recruiting him in December.

Agreed.

Pearson
North
Malone
Howard (if he returns)
Croom (biggest WR in SEC @ 6'5 235lbs)

We have some talent this year, now we just need a QB

Honestly these two alone do the trick. Everyone else is gravy. I like Cooper, White and Jones, but those two are on another level. It is closer to having a pair of Julios.

I don't think WR's are going to be the story this year, it's going to be all about QB's and how none of them have a lick of experience. Meanwhile the SEC was very young defensively last year.

Honestly, I think you're going to see a lot of low scoring contests this year compared to last years shoot outs. All the experience is on the defensive side of the ball this year.

Is he going to be going against the UT defense every week? He would be a shoe in for the Heisman...
