So you can witness a real stadium, real fans and real atmosphere.

I will grant you that the Mizzou football experience is not the pennacle of college gameday experiences. But keep in mind Missouri also has Arrowhead Stadium. While I'm sure LSU is a cool trip, few venues can rival the loudest football stadium in the world in the home of the world's largest BBQ competition, with acres upon acres of parking and tailgating at the stadium. And when Mizzou played kU (both top 5 ranked) there in 2007 it was the greatest possible game day experience.

That said, I'd love to see your stadium, fans, and atmosphere - piss balloons and all.

I have been to arrowhead for chiefs game and great atmosphere. Tiger Stadium a different animal especially this Saturday with a new coach and the natives restless.

Speaking of high school football, is it strange to anyone else that being the only school in the state of Missouri, they are not the top recruiting school in their own state?Arkansas is getting the better talent from that state.

I hate that I am going to miss that. Unfortunately my favorite team has a game the same night right here in Springfield. I'm related to one of the stars on the team.

I started by recognizing that our college football gameday experience is just ok. We were discussing football venues, fans, and atmosphere. Then I related about a college game at that wonderful venue right here in Missouri.

Please hush and let the adults have a grown-up conversation.

Meh, we recruit Texas and Illinois really well. Recruiting rankings don't mean much here at Mizzou. All of our NFL 1st rounders (We have as many as LSU in the last 7 years) arrive to campus being 2 or 3 stars. See Charles Harris. We were his only scholarship offer. He actually concentrated on basketball in high school.

Good. More Mizzou fans to witness LSU dropping 60.
