I think 4th sounds right. Lock has the tools to be really, really good but I'm a bit concerned with the skill positions and OL. Defense should be solid (as always).
ETA: any newcomers expected to contribute immediately at RB/WR?

You're on the right track. OL is a concern as well as the skill positions.
We are all hoping that Alex Ross and Chris Black make an impact at RB and WR, respectively. Im also really high on a couple of WR RS from last year, Johnathan Johnson and Justin Smith. We had a 4* RB that didnt qualify out of JUCO and that hurts for sure. FR Damarea Crockett is probably going to have to play now.

Hey aggies, who you gonna hire after Sumlin?
Whoever it will be will be higher paid and more nationally respected than Odom was when you hired him.

Brandon Harris is the worst QB in the division...
It could be possible but I doubt it, I'm glad you didn't even try to bring up the defensive cord. though.

Right, because Florida and Georgia are clearly juggernauts that arent filled with questions and holes.

Hansbrough graduated. Senior season he never got on track. Injured on the first carry I think, and never made it back to 100%.
Signed a free agent deal with the Buccaneers, I think.
RB would be my second biggest concern after the OL.

I thought that was the part you agreed with. Their defensive coordinator is terrible as well.

Their 1st year defensive coordinator that did a great job at Wisc. is terrible? Come on man

What possible justification would you have for Aranda being terrible?

Well while the OP was hitting the peace pipe I think Mizzou has a solid shot of being better then most think they will be this year.
If they get past WVU, who is not a great team, then the schedule is not that terrifying. A lot of East teams, for various reasons, look a bit shaky this year. Even the Vols, the solid choice for the East champion, still run the danger of having a couple of Butch Blowup games.
I would not bat an eye if Mizzou knocked off one of Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee this year. Two would be a surprise. Three is the East championship.
Will they beat the Hogs this year? I'd say Arkansas is a bit further along in the rebuild but Mizzou is no slam dunk.
A 6 win season and a bowl game against some podunk Big 12 team would be good and speed along the process. Anything more is gravy. The Tigers are playing with house money this year... they don't have anything to lose.

Will be interesting to see how Heupel uses Ross given how much he hates running the ball.

In their odd little minds they believe they will hire saban or myer for 50 million a year. But in reality they will end up with a none splash hire for 3-5 mil annually lol.
