Coming up on 10 years since that crazy and exciting 2007 season.
I was at the OU/Mizzou game in Norman. College Gameday was there. OU won a hard fought, exciting matchup. We knew Mizzou was for real, and it later showed in the season.
Kansas beat Nebraska 76-39. Who would have thought KU was going to be a threat?
Even though OU was Big XII champion, to me, the most excitement for that conference season was #2 Kansas (11-0) vs. #4 Missouri (10-1) in the Border War; winner would take the #1 ranking into the Big XII title game.
For those of you who went or watched, what was the hype like leading up to the game? What was the atmosphere like?
Fun to reminisce about.

That Border War was the best football game Ive ever attended and nothing is close.
I thought we had a decent shot to pick you guys off in the Big 12 title game, but we fell apart in the second half.
Close, but no cigar. Such is life as a Mizzou fan. I think we probably would have beaten Ohio St as well that year. Imagine how different things would be. Oh well...
Pinkel was truly a great coach.

Hall of Fame coach. Hopefully in time Mizzou will name something in his honor.
